(B4091 Stourbridge Road/U20201 Bournheath Road, Belbroughton) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Proposed Order: To close that part of: Closure 1 - B4091

Stourbridge Road from its junction with U20200 Yew Tree Lane for a distance of 300 metres in a north westerly direction. Closure 2 - U20201 Bournheath Road from its junction with B4091 Stourbridge Road to its junction with U20009 Bournheath Road.

Reason: Carriageway resurfacing by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: Diversion Closure 1: B4091 Stourbridge Road - B4091 Stourbridge Road (northbound), A491 Sandy Lane, A38 Lydiate Ash Roundabout, A38 Halesowen Road, A38 Birmingham Road, B4185 Golden Cross Lane, B4185 Gibb Lane, B4185 Meadow Road, B4091Stourbridge Road and vice versa. Diversion Closure 2: U20201 Bournheath Road (Northbound) - U20201 Brook Road, C2062 Dordale Road, C2062 Bradford Lane, C2062 Church Lane, B4188 High Street, B4188 Hartle Lane, A491 Bromsgrove Road, B4091 Stourbridge Road and vice versa. Diversion Closure 2: U20201 Bournheath Road (Southbound) - U20201 Brook Road, C2062 Dordale Road, C2062 Doctors Hill, C2062 Rocky Lane, B4091 Stourbridge Road and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day (19:30-06:00) between 25 March and 5 April 2024.

(U21412 Plymouth Road, Barnt Green) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Order made: To close that part of U21412 Plymouth Road from its junction with U21411Twatling Road to its junction with U21402 Mearse Lane.

Reason: Utility works by Severn Trent Water.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: U21402 Mearse Lane, U21411 Twatling Road and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day. Commencing: 6 March 2024.

(U21426 Beacon Lane, Lickey) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Order made: To close that part of U21426 Beacon Lane from its junction with U21423 Alvechurch Highway to its junction with U21411 Monument Lane.

Reason: Carriageway patching by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: U21423 Alvechurch Highway, B4096 Old Birmingham Road, U21411 Monument Lane and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days between 1 March 2024 and 15 March 2024.

(C2083 Crutch Lane, Elmbridge) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Order made: To close that part of C2083 Crutch Lane from its junction with C2085 Crown Lane to its junction

with U20000 Newhouse Lane.

Reason: Carriageway patching by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises

fronting the highway affected where there is no other

form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: C2085 Crown Lane, C2082 Elmbridge Lane, C2018 Clattercut Lane, A448 Kidderminster Road,

C2084 Berry Lane and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days between 5 March 2024 and 18 March 2024.

(C2163 Woodman Lane, Clent) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Order made: To close that part of C2163 Woodman Lane from its junction with C20411 Violet Lane to its junction

with C2003 Bromsgrove Road.

Reason: New Customer Connection by Cadent Gas Ltd.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: C2003 Bromsgrove Road, C2002 Church Avenue, C2163 Odnall Lane and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 5 days. Commencing: 4 March 2024.

(C2157 Linthurst Newtown, Blackwell, Bromsgrove) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Order made: To close that part of C2157 Linthurst Newtown from its junction with U21405 St Catherine Road

to its junction with C2174 Blackwell Road.

Reason: Remedial works to rectify defects in carriageway by Cadent Gas.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: C2174 Blackwell Road, C2174 Hewell Road, B4120 Bittel Road, C2151 Fiery Hill Road,

Linthurst Road, U21405 St Catherine Road and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days. Commencing: 2 March 2024.

(C2058 New Road, Rubery) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Proposed Order: To close that part of C2058 New Road from its junction with U21441 Beverley Road to its junction with county boundary with Birmingham.

Reason: Utility work by Severn Trent Water.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: Bristol Road South (Birmingham), Leach Green Lane (Birmingham), Leach Heath Lane (Birmingham) U21438 Lech Heath Lane, U21438 Whetty Lane, C2058 Legion Road, C2058 New Road and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days. Commencing: 23 March 2024.

(C2083 Berry Lane, Upton Warren) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Proposed Order: To close that part of C2083 Berry Lane from its junction with C2084 Swan Lane to its junction

with U42012 Colley Pitts Lane.

Reason: Overhead cabling renewal by Openreach.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: C2083 Crutch Lane, C2085 Crown Lane, C2082 Elmbridge Lane, C2147 Cooksey Green Lane, C2084 Berry Lane and vice versa

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day. Commencing: 26 March 2024.

(U20650 Church Hill, Frankley) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Proposed Order: To close that part of U20650 Church Hill from its junction with C2039 Ravenhayes Lane for a distance of 850 metres to Birmingham boundary.

Reason: Pre carriageway surface dressing preparation by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: C2039 Frankley Hill Lane, C2039 Egghill, Frankley Beeches Road (Birmingham), Merritts Brook Lane (Birmingham), Merritts Hill (Birmingham), Frankley Lane (Birmingham) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days between 25 March 2024 and 3 April 2024.

(Link Footpath F20517 The Hedgerows (o/s no. 6) to Dark Lane, Romsley) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Order made: To close that part of Link Footpath F20517 The Hedgerows (o/s no. 6) to Dark Lane from its junction with U20621 Dark Lane to its junction with U20619 The Hedgerows.

Reason: Construction of retaining wall and footpath resurfacing by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: U20619 The Hedgerows, C2002 St. Kenelms Road, U20621 Dark Lane and vice versa. Maximum duration: 6 Months. Anticipated duration: 5 days. Commencing: 4 March 2024.

(U21081 The Crescent, Bromsgrove) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Proposed Order: To close that part of U21081 The Crescent one way from its junction with U21083 Kenyon Close for a distance of 30 metres in a north easterly direction.

Reason: Laying new ducting by Openreach.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: U21081 The Crescent, U21072 Old Station Road and U21084 Ednall Lane.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days. Commencing: 23 March 2024.

Section 23 Establishment of A Puffin Crossing on A38 Bromsgrove

NOTICE is hereby given that Worcestershire County Council propose to establish a puffin crossing to serve pedestrians in Bromsgrove as follows:-

The site of the crossing will be on A38 (north side of roundabout with Sherwood Road and Austin Road).

Section 23 Establishment of A Toucan Crossing on Sherwood Road, Bromsgrove

NOTICE is hereby given that Worcestershire County Council propose to establish a toucan crossing to serve pedestrians and cyclists in Bromsgrove as follows:-The site of the crossing will be on Sherwood Road (approximately 25m from the A38 roundabout).

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (As Amended) (Footpath OM-544, Ombersley) (Temporary Closure Order) 2024

Proposed Order: To close Footpath OM-544, Ombersley for its entire length. The Order has been made to excavate the footpath and lay gas mains to supply to a new property.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises having a frontage to the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the necessary works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: From the junction of Ombersley footpaths OM-539, OM-540 and OM-544 - use OM-540, then OM-546, OM-547, Elmley Lovett footpaths EL-546, EL-547, EL-543, EL-544 and Hartlebury footpath HR-559 and vice versa.

The proposed Order will continue in force for a period not exceeding 6 months or until the works which it is proposed to be carried out have been completed, whichever is the earlier. However, it is anticipated that the Order will only be operative for 6 months commencing on 25 March 2024.

Worcestershire County Council are to consider making an Order the effect of which will be to update the speed limit on the following lengths of roads as follows: The 30mph speed limit on the following lengths of roads in Cutnall Green, as follows:

C2030 Elmley Lane: From its junction with A442 in a westerly direction to a point 25 metres west of its junction with UC40008 Elmley Close.

C2143: From its junction with A442 for a distance of 420 metres in a westerly then south westerly direction.

UC40008 Elmley Close: For its entire length.

UC40009: For its entire length.

UC40410 Oak Tree Drive: For its entire length.

The 40mph speed limit on the following lengths of road

A442 Droitwich Road: From a point 150 metres north of its junction with C2018 in a southerly direction to a point

580 metres south of its junction with C2143.

C2018 Clattercut Lane: From its junction with A442 for a distance of 60 metres in a northerly direction.
