THE EALING (VILLIERS SCHOOL STREETS) (NO. 1)
TRAFFIC ORDER 2024

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Ealing on 26th February 2024 made the above Order under section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended:

The general effect of the Order will be to create a pedestrian and cycle zone in the vicinity of Villiers High School operating between 8.10am and 8.50am and between 2.30pm and 3.30pm on Mondays to Fridays (the operational hours). Motor vehicles will be prohibited from entering Boyd Avenue and Villiers Road during the operational hours.

3. Residents living in properties in Boyd Avenue and Villiers Road will be able to apply for a SS45 school streets zone permit to be issued for their vehicle so that they can access their properties during the operational hours.

4. The Order, which will come into operation on 4th March 2024, and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order including plans, are available by e-mail from trafficnotices@ealing.gov.uk or for inspection at Customer Services Reception, Perceval House, 14-16 Uxbridge Road W5 2HL between 9:00am and 4:45pm on Monday to Friday, until 8th April 2024.

5. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any relevant requirements thereof or any relevant regulations made thereunder have not been complied with in relation to the Order may make application for the purpose to the High Court by 8th April 2024.
