Acklam Road - Temporary Road Closures For Crane Works
What is happening?
THE ROYAL BOROUGH OF KENSINGTON AND CHELSEA
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURES ACKLAM ROAD
The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea has made an Order under The Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991 Schedule 1 - Section 14 (1) (A) and all other enabling powers prohibiting vehicles from proceeding or waiting in roads cited below. Where necessary to maintain access for residents and occupiers one way or two-way traffic working may be imposed on affected roads.
ROAD CLOSED TO VEHICLES FOR DEVELOPMENT AND CRANE WORKS
Acklam Road to be closed from the flank of number 14 outside of the Muslim Cultural Heritage Centre to bottom of the road.
To be closed from 08.00hrs on Thursday 29th February 2024 until 18.00hrs on Wednesday 28th June 2024.
Diverted through traffic may use Acklam Road, St Ervans Road, Golborne Road, Bevington Road, Blagrove Road, Acklam Road.
Access will be maintained for residents and occupiers.
Nothing in this Order shall apply to anything done with the permission of, or at the direction of, a police constable in uniform or a traffic warden.
Nothing in this Order shall apply to any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes, or for the purposes of a statutory undertaker in an emergency.
