Tonbridge and Malling, Multiple Temporary Traffic Regulation Notices

What is happening?

Highways

Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, makes or intends to make the following Orders.

TONBRIDGE & MALLING AREA

Beech Road, Mereworth, ME18 5QY (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

To allow electric works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Beech Road, Mereworth, on or after 18th March 2024 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed at the junction with B2016 Seven Mile Lane, between the hours of 08:00 and 18:00 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via B2016 Seven Mile Lane, Willow Wents, New Pound Lane, Beech Road and vice versa.

 

Botany, Tonbridge, TN9 1FZ (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

To allow water works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on Botany, Tonbridge, on or after 4th March 2024 for up to 2 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside the Waitrose Car Park. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

There is no diversion for these works and access will be maintained when it is safe to do so.

 

Broadwater Road, West Malling, ME19 6HU (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

To allow pole replacement works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Broadwater Road, West Malling, on or after 4th March 2024 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed between the junctions of Clare Lane and Well Street during the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Broadwater Road, Pikey Lane, The Heath, Wateringbury Road, Chapel Street, High Street, Mill Street, Clare Lane, Broadwater Road and vice versa.

 

Bullen Lane, East Peckham, TN12 5NP (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

To allow water works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Bullen Lane, East Peckham, on or after 18th March 2024 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside Rose Villa. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Bullen Lane, Bush Road, Pound Road, Chidley Cross Road, Hatches Lane and vice versa.

 

Butchers Lane, Mereworth, ME18 5QH (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

To allow manhole repair works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on Butchers Lane, Mereworth, on or after 4th March 2024 for up to 2 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed between the junctions of Beech Road and The Street. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via The Street, B2016 Seven Mile Lane, Beech Road and vice versa.

 

Commercial Road, Tonbridge, TN9 2RF (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

To allow water works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on Commercial Road, Tonbridge, on or after 19th March 2024 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed from the junction of Priory Road. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

There is no alternative route and access will be maintained when it is safe to do so.

 

Kingfisher Road, Larkfield, ME20 6RB (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

To allow new water connection to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Kingfisher Road, Larkfield, on or after 18th March 2024 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside 96. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Kingfisher Road, New Hythe Lane, A20 London Road, Lunsford Lane and vice versa.

 

Nizels Lane, Hildenborough, TN11 8NX (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

To allow water works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Nizels Lane, Hildenborough, on or after 6th March 2024 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside Littlebourne. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Nizels Lane, Philpots Lane, Rings Hill, Watts Cross Road, B245 London Road, Nizels Lane and vice versa.

 

Philpots Lane, Hildenborough (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

To allow pole replacement works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Philpots Lane, Hildenborough, on or after 7th March 2024 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside The Cottage, between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Philpots Lane, Rings Hill, B2027 Stocks Green Road, B2027 Hildenborough Road, B2027 High Street, B2027 Penshurst Road, B2027 Tonbridge Road, Camp Hill, Coppings Road, Philpots Lane and vice versa.

 

Pilgrims Way, Wrotham, TN15 7QE (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

To allow pole replacement works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Pilgrims Way, Wrotham, on or after 19th March 2024 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside The Former Rectory, between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via A20 London Road, Nepicar Lane, Pilgrims Way and vice versa.

 

Platt House Lane, Fairseat, TN15 7LT (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

To allow pole replacement works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Platt House Lane, Fairseat, on or after 20th March 2024 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed at the junction with Vigo Road, between the hours of 08:30 and 16:30 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Platt House Lane, Vigo Road and vice versa.

 

Robson Drive, Aylesford, ME20 6BB (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

To allow electric works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on Robson Drive, Aylesford, on or after 4th March 2024 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside 71. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

There is no diversion for these works. Access will be maintained when it is safe to do so.

 

Vigo Road, Fairseat, TN15 7LU (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

To allow pole replacement works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Vigo Road, Fairseat, on or after 19th March 2024 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside Holy Innocents Church, between the hours of 08:30 and 16:30 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Vigo Road, Platt House Lane, Wrotham Hill Road, Tumblefield Road, Plaxdale Green Road, Malthouse Road, Stansted Hill, Vigo Road and vice versa.
