PUBLIC NOTICE

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

(U63016 Lower Wyche Road, Malvern Wells) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Proposed Order: To close that part of U63016 Lower Wyche Road from its junction with U63015 Old Wyche Road to its junction with U63040 Lower Wyche Road.

Reason: Utility works by Severn Trent Water.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: B4218 Wyche Road, A449 Wells Road, A449 Belle Vue Terrace, A449 Worcester Road, B4232 North Malvern Road, B4232 West Malvern Road, B4232 (Herefordshire), B4218 (Herefordshire), B4218 Wyche Road and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days. Commencing: 18 March 2024.

(U63304 Mayfield Road, Malvern) (Temporary Closure) and The County of Hereford and Worcester (Mayfield Road, Malvern) (One-Way Traffic) Order 1996 (Temporary Suspension) Order 2024

Proposed Order: To close that part of U63304 Mayfield Road from its junction with B4208 North End Lane to its junction with C2260 Madresfield Road and to temporarily suspend The County of Hereford and Worcester (Mayfield Road, Malvern) (One-Way Traffic) Order 1996 for the duration of the works to allow access to properties.

Reason: New/replacement gas main by Trinity.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: C2260 Madresfield Road, B4208 Pickersleigh Road, B4208 North End Lane and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 26 days (24hrs). Commencing: 18 March 2024.

(U61200 Lockeridge Lane, Upton upon Severn) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Proposed Order: To close that part of U61200 Lockeridge Lane from its junction with A4104 Welland Road to its junction with C2098 Welland Stone.

Reason: Carriageway patching by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: A4104 Welland Road, B4211 Gloucester Road, C2098 Longdon Heath, C2098 Welland Stone and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days. Commencing: 21 March 2024.

(C2221 Upper Welland Road, Malvern Wells) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Order made: To close that part of C2221 Upper Welland Road from its junction with A449 Wells Road to its junction with A4104 Marlbank Road.

Reason: Surface dressing by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: A449 Wells Road, A4104 Little Malvern, A4104 Marlbank Road and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 4 days between 26 February 2024 and 15 March 2024.

(U61203 Brotheridge Green, Upton upon Severn) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Proposed Order: To close that part of U61203 Brotheridge Green from its junction with U61204 Mill Lane to its junction with U61202 Brotheridge Green Lane.

Reason: Drainage Work / Flood Alleviation by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: U61204 Mill Lane, C2099 Upper Hook Road, C2099 Hook Common, U61202 Brotheridge Green Lane and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 5 days. Commencing: 18 March 2024.

(U63221 Bank Street, Malvern) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Proposed Order: To close that part of U63221 Bank Street from its junction with U63206 Zetland Road to its junction with A449 Worcester Road.

Reason: Footway reconstruction by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: A449 Worcester Road, U63219 Moorlands Road, U63221 Bank Street and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 4 days. Commencing: 18 March 2024.

(U61614 Rectory Lane & BR1370 Bridge, Madresfield) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Order made: To close that part of U61614 Rectory Lane and BR1370 Bridge from its junction with C2102 Madresfield Village for a distance of 340 metres in a westerly direction.

Reason: Investigation works on bridge by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: U61614 Rectory Lane, U63347 North End Lane, U63347 Madresfield Village, C2102 Madresfield Village and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day. Commencing: 26 February 2024.

(C2214 Gilberts End, Hanley Castle) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Order made: To close that part of C2214 Gilberts End from its junction with C2054 Welland Road to its junction with B4209 Hanley Castle.

Reason: Utility works by Openreach.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: B4209 Hanley Castle, B4209 Roberts End to B4209 Hanley Castle and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days. Commencing: 26 February 2024.

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (As Amended) (Footpath LD-524 Longdon and QH-519 Queenhill) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Order made : To close Footpath LD-524 Longdon and QH-519 Queenhill for their entire length.

The Order has been made as a result of a bridge collapse.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises having a frontage to the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the necessary works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: There is no suitable alternative route.

The proposed Order will continue in force for a period not exceeding 6 months or until the works which it is proposed to be carried out have been completed, whichever is the earlier. However, it is anticipated that the Order will only be operative for 6 months commencing on 7 February 2024.
