Bampton, Temporary Traffic Restrictions Due To Utility Works

What is happening?

CUMBERLAND COUNCIL (VARIOUS ROADS, NEAR BRAMPTON) (TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that to enable utility works to be carried out ("the Works"), Cumberland Council has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along the lengths of road specified in the attached Schedule.

Suitable diversion routes will be indicated on site by the display of relevant traffic signs as and when the temporary closures are in force.

A way for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times.

The Order will come into operation on 16 March 2024 and may continue in force for a maximum duration of eighteen months. However, please note that it is anticipated that the restrictions will only be required as stated in the schedule and only as and when the relevant traffic signs are displayed.

EXTENT OF RESTRICTIONS AND ALTERNATIVE ROUTES

1. U1220 Farlam - From 16 March 2024 for approx. 3 days (Ref: TTROC/9969)

From its junction with the C1032 to its junction with the C1031.

Alternative Route: via the C1031 and the C1032.

2. C1029 Burtholme - From 19 March 2024 for approx. 3 days (Ref: TTROC/9970)

From its junction with the C1025, extending in a north westerly direction for approx. 2.2km.

Alternative Route: via the unrestricted sections of the C1029 and the C1025.

3. C1025 Banks, near Lanercost - From 22 March 2024 for approx. 3 days (Ref: TTROC/9971)

From its junction with the U1296 to its junction with the C1028.

Alternative Route: via the C1028 and the U1296.

4. C1028 Banks, near Lanercost - From 25 March 2024 for approx. 3 days (Ref: TT ROC/9973)

From its junction with the U1296 to its junction with the C1025. Alternative Route: via the C1025 and the U1296.

5. U1296 Banks, near Lanercost - From 28 March 2024 for approx. 3 days (Ref: TT ROC/9974)

From its junction with the C1025 to its junction with the C1028.

Alternative Route: via the C1028 and the C1025.

6. U1053 Low Row - From 31 March 2024 for approx. 3 days (Ref:TTROC/9975)

From its junction with the C1025, extending in a south easterly direction for approx. 2.5km.

Alternative Route: via the C1023, A69, A6071, C1033 and The Swartle.

7. U1109 Brampton - From 2 April 2024 for approx. 3 days (Ref: TTROC/9790) From its junction with the U1299 to its junction with the B6413.

Alternative Route: via the B6413, A6071, A69, A689 and the U1299.

8. U1056 Naworth - From 6 April 2024 for approx. 3 days (Ref: TTROC/9978)

From its junction with the C1025, extending in a south easterly direction for approx. 1.15km.

Alternative Route: via the unrestrictes section of the U1056, A69, A6071, C1033 and the C1025.

9. C1025 Bram pton to Lanercost - From 9 April 2024 for approx. 3 days (Ref: TTROC/9979)

From its junction with the C1029 to its junction with Turning Course Lonning.

Alternative Route: via the unrestricted sections of the C1025, A6071, C1013 and the B6318.
