(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) (TEMPORARY ONE WAY SUSPESNION) (PROHIBITION OF WAITING AND LOADING OR UNLOADING) ORDER 2023
The Lancashire County Council (“the County Council”) in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) (b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, (the Act), and of all other enabling powers, HEREBY makes the following Order:-
The Lancashire County Council ((BROAGATE FLOOD DEFENCE SCHEME, PRESTON CITY) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) (TEMPORARY ONE WAY SUSPESNION) (PROHIBITION OF WAITING AND LOADING OR UNLOADING) ORDER 2023, is hereby temporarily Amended in that:
i. To amend Article 4 as follows:
The prohibitions in articles 1, 2 & 3 shall be operative from 0001 hours Monday 20th March 2023 until 2359 hours on Tuesday 3rd December 2024.
ii. To amend Article 8 as follows:
The prohibitions in articles 3,4 & 5 shall be operative from 0001 hours on Monday 20th March 2023 until 2359 on Tuesday 3rd December 2024.
iii. To amend Article 10 as follows
The prohibitions in Article 9 shall be operative from 0001 hours on Monday 23rd October 2023 until 2359 hours on Tuesday 3rd December 2024.
iv. To amend Article 12 as follows:
The prohibitions in article 11 will be in force from 0001 hours on Monday 20th March 2023 until 2359 hours on Tuesday 3rd December 2024.or until completion of the works within this period. The prohibitions will only be operative when indicated on site by the presence of the appropriate traffic signs in accordance with The Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016
This Temporary Amendment Order shall come into operation on Monday 19th February 2024 and may be cited as “The Lancashire County Council ((BROAGATE FLOOD DEFENCE SCHEME, PRESTON CITY) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) (TEMPORARY ONE WAY SUSPESNION) (PROHIBITION OF WAITING AND LOADING OR UNLOADING) ORDER 2024.
