What is happening?
ABERDEENSHIRE COUNCIL
B974 – TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
“The Aberdeenshire Council (B974 From U105K to C6K – 28.02.24) (Temporary Closure to Vehicular Traffic) Order, 2024” has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984. The order will operate from 28.02.24 for 8 days and will prohibit any person from driving on the B974 from the U105K to the C6K.
Access will be provided for emergency and vehicles requiring access to properties but may be subject to delay until the road is cleared of construction plant to allow safe passage through the works.
The temporary restriction is necessary in the interests of public safety due to the installation of telecommunications ducts. An alternative route is available via the C6K – C33K – B974 and vice versa.
