ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 (1)
Temporary Banned Turn and Parking Suspension Castelnau and Riverview Gardens, Barnes (Reference 24/039)
1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate investigation and repair works to be undertaken to Hammersmith Bridge, they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Castelnau, and Riverview Gardens Barnes
2. Whilst the works take place, no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in a north-easterly direction in Castelnau between the north-eastern kerb-line of Clavering Avenue and Hammersmith Bridge, the two permit parking bays in Riverview Gardens, on its south-western side from a point 10 metres south-east of the junction with Castelnau will be suspended.
3. The order will come into effect on 01 March 2024. The restrictions will be in force at all times from 01 March 2024 until 01 September 2025, whilst signs/cones are in place. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.
4. An alternative route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Clavering Avenue and Riverview Gardens.
5. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.
6. Nothing in the Order applies to:
(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or
(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.
7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

Temporary Road Closure Gordon Avenue, Twickenham. (Reference 24/038)
1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate Thames water valve replacement works, they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Gordon Avenue, Twickenham.
2. Whilst the works take place no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to wait or stand in Gordon Avenue, Twickenham at the junction with St Margarets Road.
3. The order will come into effect on 02 March 2024. The works are anticipated to be in progress at all times between from 02 March to 03 March 2024. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.
4. An alternative route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Gordon Avenue, Ailsa Avenue and St Margarets Road and vice versa.
5. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.
6. Nothing in the Order applies to:
(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or
(c) any vehicle being used for Police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes..
7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

Temporary Road Closure Station Road, Hampton. (Reference 24/037)
1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate Thames water works, they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Station Road, Hampton.
2. Whilst the works take place no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to wait or stand in Station Road, Hampton from the junction with Belgrade Road and Gander Green Crescent.
3. The order will come into effect on 04 March 2024. The works are anticipated to be in progress at all times between from 04 March 2024 to 10 March 2024. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.
4. An alternative route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Station Road, Ormond Avenue, High Street, and Station Road and vice versa.
5. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.
6. Nothing in the Order applies to:
(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or
(c) any vehicle being used for Police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes..

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate water connection works, they have made a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce temporary prohibition of traffic in Bridge Way, Twickenham.
2. Whilst the works take place no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in Bridge Way, Twickenham from the junction with Percy Road to outside number 2a Bridge Way.
3. The order will come into effect on 27 February 2024. The works are anticipated to be in progress from 27 February to 03 March 2024. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.
4. An alternative route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via High Street, Redway Drive, and Cypress Avenue and vice versa
5. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.
6. Nothing in the Order applies to:
(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or
(c) any vehicle being used for Police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes..

Temporary Road Closure Colne Road, Twickenham. (Reference 24/032)
1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate sewer cover replacement works, they have made a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce temporary prohibition of traffic in Colne Road, Twickenham.
2. Whilst the works take place no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in Colne Road, Twickenham from a point outside number 174 Colne Road to a point outside No. 178 Colne Road, Twickenham.
3. The order will come into effect on 26 February 2024. The works are anticipated to be in progress between 09.30 and 15.30 on 26 February 2024 only. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.
4. An alternative route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Staines Road, Meadway, Andover Road, Mereway Road or The Green and vice versa.
5. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.
6. Nothing in the Order applies to:
(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or
(c) any vehicle being used for Police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.
7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate sewer cover replacement works, they have made a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce temporary prohibition of traffic in Strawberry Hill Road, Twickenham
2. Whilst the works take place no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in Strawberry Hill Road, Twickenham from outside from a point outside No. 25 Strawberry Hill Road to a point outside No. 27 Strawberry Hill Road, Twickenham.
3. The order will come into effect on 29 February 2024. The works are anticipated to be in progress between 09.30-15.30 on 29 February 2024 only. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.
4. An alternative route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Waldegrave Road, Waldegrave Gardens, and Tower Road or Waldergrave Road, Shacklegate Lane, Stanley Road, South Road, Hampton Road, and Wellesley Road and vice versa.
5. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.
6. Nothing in the Order applies to:
(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or
(c) any vehicle being used for Police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.
7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
