LONDON BOROUGH OF SUTTON
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Sutton propose to make the following Order The Sutton (Parking, Waiting, Loading and Stopping Restrictions) (Amendment No. *) Order 202* under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 19841, as amended -
2. The general effect of the Order would be to:-
(a) introduce/extend waiting restrictions operating 'at any time' (double yellow lines) in:-
- Barrington Road outside Nos. 55 and 57
- Elm Road West adjacent to No. 41 Woodstock Avenue
- Forest Road adjacent to No. 350 Sutton Common Road
- Gander Green Lane outside No. 280, 480 to 492
- Morley Road outside Nos. 11 to 15
- The Close, Sutton around the turning head
- The Mount, Coulsdon around the south-western extremity
(b) relocate a loading bay operating Monday to Saturday 8am to 6.30pm maximum stay 1 hour no return within 2 hours from outside Nos. 16 and 18 Maiden Road to outside no. 28 and relocate the free parking bay from outside no. 28 to outside Nos. 16 and 18
(c) remove waiting restrictions operating 'at any time' (double yellow lines) outside No. 1 Woodstock Rise
(d) remove a length of waiting restrictions operating 8am to 6.30pm Monday to Friday (single yellow line) outside No. 14 Bassett Close.
(e) amend the map-based tiles attached to The Sutton (Parking, Waiting, Loading and Stopping Restrictions) Order 2023, to match conditions as they exist on site.
3. Copies of the proposed Order, of the Council's Statement of Reasons for proposing to make the Order and plans showing the locations and the effects of the proposals may be inspected at the Council's Civic Offices, St Nicholas Way, Sutton, Surrey, SM1 1EA. Copies can also be obtained by calling 020 8770 5000.
4.
