Manchester - Multiple Road Closures
What is happening?
Manchester City Council proposes to make the following
orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The titles
and effect of the orders is as follows; CITY OF MANCHESTER
(CONTROLLED PARKING ZONE) (MANCHESTER CITY CENTRE)
(NO 12 CONSOLIDATION ) AMENDMENT NO.12 ORDER 2024
Goods Vehicle Loading and Unloading 8am-8pm 15 Minutes
Only on; King Street West south side from a point 5 metres east
of its junction with St Mary’s Parsonage in an easterly direction
to a point 21m west of Butter Lane, with width 2.7m. Goods
Vehicle Loading and Unloading 6am-6pm on; Cross Street
north-west side from a point 27m north east of St Ann St in a
north easterly direction for a distance of 38 metres, with width
2.7m. Taxi Rank 6pm-6am on Cross Street - the north-west
side from a point 27m north east of St Ann Street in a north
easterly direction for 38m. Taxi Rank 8pm-8am on King
Street West-the south side from a point 5 metres east of
St Mary’s Parsonage in an easterly direction to a point 21m
west of Butter Lane TRANSPORT FOR GREATER MANCHESTER
(SECOND CITY CROSSING) CITY OF MANCHESTER (VARIOUS
ROADS MANCHESTER) (NO STOPPING AND PROHIBITION
OF WAITING AND LOADING/UNLOADING) REVOCATION
ORDER 2024. The following good vehicle loading parking place
will be revoked- Cross St, the NW side from a point 27m NE of
St Ann St in a NE direction for 38m. Copies of the proposed Orders
together with the statement of reasons and plan showing the
proposals may be inspected by appointment at the Customer
Service Centre Ground Floor, Town Hall Extension, M60 2LA
(for Sat. Nav. use M2 5DB) between hours of 9am and 4.30pm
on Monday to Friday. Please email or write into the address
below for a copy of the documents. Objections to the proposals
must be sent to me in writing to phlegal@manchester.gov.uk
or the address below, stating the grounds on which they are
made, no later than 16 March 2024. Please quote reference
