CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL

DEAN EDGE ROAD, OLDFIELD, KEIGHLEY

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of telecommunication works proposed to be executed on or near Dean Edge Road, Oldfield intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Dean Edge Road from the entrance to Far Dean Fields Farm for approximately 120metres in a north westerly direction.

PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via Dean Edge Road(unaffected section), Crag Bottom Road, New Laithe Road, Scar Top Road, Oldfield Lane, Harehills Lane and vice versa.

The proposed Order will come into effect at 08:00 hours on the 5th March 2024 and remain in force until 17:00 hours on the 6th March 2024 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
