The Council of The London Borough of Redbridge The Redbridge (Waiting, Loading, Stopping and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2021 (Amendment No. 7) Order 2024
The Council of the London Borough of Redbridge, after consulting the Commissioner of Police of the Metropolis, in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 15 of the Greater London Council Act 1972 and Sections 6,45,46,49 and 124 and Parts I to IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended and of all other enabling powers, on the 21st February 2024 made the above-mentioned Order, the effect of which will be to:
1. Install double yellow lines; i) at the junctions of; Theydon Grove and Danbury Way IG8; Broadwalk and Greenheys Drive E18; Broadwalk and Bushey Avenue E18; The Drive and Kingspark Court E18; Bressey Grove and Malford Grove E18; ii) at the junction of Theydon Grove with Rayleigh Road IG8; and iii) outside Nos. 26, 28, 41, 43 Theydon Grove IG8;
2. Implement a Permit Parking Area (Zone WFA) operating 8.30am to 6.30pm Monday to Friday (inclusive of) in Claremont Grove IG8 and Theydon Grove IG8;
3. Implement Permit Parking Area South Woodford (SW) operating 8.30am and 6.30pm, Monday to Friday (inclusive of) in the following roads (both sides); Broadwalk outside no. 25 Broadwalk to no. 46 The Drive; Kingspark Court; Malford Grove from its junction with Broadwalk to no. 122;
4. Convert the existing Controlled Parking Zone South Woodford (SW) to a Permit Parking Area South Woodford (SW) operating 8.30am and 6.30pm, Monday to Friday (inclusive of) in Malford Grove outside nos. 124 to the junction with Bressey Grove;
5. Install shared use permit holders (WFA) and payment parking place (3 hour max stay no return within 1 hour) in Claremont Grove IG8, alongside no. 1 Rex Parade, Snakes Lane East;
6. Online application charges (per address) for the permit parking restrictions mentioned in Sections 2 to 4 (inclusive of) of this notice are as follows: first resident permit £17 for 6 months, £22.50 for 12 months; second additional resident permit £61.75 for 6 months, £123.50 for 12 months; third and subsequent additional resident permit £111.50 for 6 months, £223 for 12 months. Visitor permits £12 for 10 permits. Business permits £260 for 6 months, £520 for 12 months. School staff permits £86.70 for 4 months or £241.50 for 12 months. Permit(s) free of charge for disabled badge holders and fully electric vehicles. Any applications not made online will incur an additional £24.75 charge per permit (except Visitor and School staff permits).
A copy of the Order, which comes into operation on 26th February 2024, together with the Council's statement of reasons for making the Order, the map schedules and map schedule legend indicating the locations and the effects may be examined at the Customer Centre, Lynton House, 255 to 259 High Road, Ilford, IG1 1NY Monday to Friday (except on Bank Holidays).
Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order or any provisions contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any regulations made thereunder have not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within six weeks of the date on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court
