West Heath Road, Temporary Restrictions due to Sewer Works

What is happening?

LONDON BOROUGH OF BARNET

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 AS AMENDED BY THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 SECTION 14(1)

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE AND TEMPORARY INTRODUCTION OF WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTIONS

WEST HEATH ROAD NW3

The BARNET LONDON BOROUGH COUNCIL HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that owing for the need to facilitate a new surface water and sewer connection, they intend to make an Order which will:

(a) temporarily close West Heath Road NW3 between No.159 West Heath Road and the junction of West Heath Gardens, while the works take place.

(b) temporarily introduce a length of 'at any time' waiting and loading restrictions on the northeast and the northwest side of West Heath Road NW3 from a point 36 metres east of the southeastern kerbline of Finchley and a point 6 metres southwest of the common boundary of No.157 and No.159 West Heath Road NW3, while the works take place.

The Order will commence at 8.00am on Monday 11th March 2024 and is expected to last for 19 days.

The alternative route for motorists will be via Finchley Road, West Heath Avenue, West Heath Road and vice versa.

Nothing in the above paragraphs shall apply to anything done with the permission of or at the direction of a Police Constable or a Civil Enforcement Officer in uniform.
