1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Brent on 19th February 2024 made the above mentioned Orders under sections 6, 32, 35, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by section 8 of and Part I of Schedule 5 to the Local Government Act 1985, the Parking Acts of 1986 and 1989 and the Traffic Management Act 2004.

2. The general effect of the Orders will be to impose, on additional dates, the system of traffic and parking control, operating in the Wembley Stadium Area when a major Event is taking place at the stadium. The new dates to be added are:-

25th February 2024; 23rd and 26th March 2024; 7th, 20th and 21st April 2024; 4th or 5th, 11th, 12th, 18th, 19th, 25th and 26th May 2024; 1st, 5th or 6th or 7th, 8th, 15th or 16th, 21st, 22nd, 23rd, 24th and 29th June 2024; 3rd, 7th, 12th, 13th, 14th, 18th, 19th, 20th, 25th, 27th, and 31st July 2024; 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 10th or 11th, 15th, 16th, 17th, 19th, 20th and 25th August 2024; 2nd or 3rd or 4th or 5th or 6th or 7th or 8th or 9th or 10th and 28th or 29th September 2024; 5th or 6th, 7th or 8th or 9th or 10th or 11th or 12th or 13th or 14th or 15th, 19th or 20th and 21st or 22nd or 23rd or 24th or 25th or 26th or 27th October 2024; 2nd or 3rd and 11th or 12th or 13th or 14th or 15th or 16th or 17th or 18th or 19th or 25th or 26th or 27th or 28th or 29th or 30th November 2024; 1st or 2nd or 3rd December 2024.

Note - The South Way two-way traffic flow scheme is expected to operate on all of the above specified dates.

3. Copies of the Orders, which will come into operation on 25th February 2024, of the relevant Orders of 2012, 2013, 2015, 2017, 2019 and 2020 (and of the Orders which have amended those Orders), and of a map of the relevant area can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the end of six weeks from the date on which the Orders were made at Brent Customer Services, Brent Civic Centre, Engineers Way, Wembley, Middlesex, HA9 0FJ.

4. Copies of the Orders may be purchased from the address mentioned in paragraph 3 above.

5. Any person desiring to question the validity of any of the Orders or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to any of the Orders may, within six weeks of the date on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
