What is happening?
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT GUILDFORD BOROUGH COUNCIL
(‘THE COUNCIL’) INTENDS TO DISPOSE OF OPEN SPACE LAND PURSUANT TO SECTION 123(2A) LOCAL GOVERNMENT ACT 1972 LAND AT: LIDO ROAD, STOKE PARK, GUILDFORD
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council proposes to dispose by way of sale of the freehold property to the west of Manor Farm and between the Southern Railway and Guildford and Godalming By-Pass Road being all of the land registered at the Land Registry under title number SY24405 (the ‘Property’) which forms part of an open space.
By virtue of section 123(2A) Local Government Act 1972 the Council is required to give formal notice of its intention to dispose of the Property and consider any objections received.
A plan showing the extent of the Property to be so disposed of may be inspected at Main Reception at Guildford Borough Council, Millmead House, Millmead Guildford, Surrey, GU2 4BB on Monday to Friday each week (public holidays excepted) until 8 March 2024.
Any person objecting to the above proposal should write to: Guildford Borough Council, Millmead House, Millmead Guildford, Surrey, GU2 4BB marked FAO: Claire Beesly and quoting the details of this notice, on or before the date referred to above giving full particulars of the grounds of his or her objection.
