C405 Station Road - Temporary Road Closure

C405 STATION ROAD BEDLINGTON
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER NUMBER 3 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the C405 Station Road Bedlington from its junction with Melrose Villas Taylors Buildings to its junction with Palace Road for a distance of 65 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 16th March 2024 until the 18th March 2024.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from 21:30 hours on the 16th March 2024 until 05:30 hours on the 18th March 2024 - continuous closure.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via C404, A1147, A189, B1331, C405 and vice-versa.

The closure has been requested by Centurion Site Services on behalf of Balfour Beatty to carry out level crossing maintenance works. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
