What is happening?

South Tyneside Council –
New Taxi Ranks. Notice is hereby given

that the Council of the Borough of South Tyneside intend, after the expiry of 28 days from the date of publication of this notice, to appoint a 24-hour Hackney Carriage Stand for the use of 8 vehicles. The stands will be on Church Street adjacent to the Marketplace facing east and will consist of 2 separate stands accommodating 8 cars ( 4 cars per stand. ) Any person wishing to raise an objection to the appointment of these stands may do so by writing to the Operations Manager –Licensing, Town Hall & Civic Offices Westoe Road, South Shields, NE33 2RL or by email to licensing@southtyneside.gov.uk before the expiry of the 28-day notice period.
