Warwickshire County Council has made the following
Temporary Traffic Orders:
ARDEN STREET, ATHERSTONE
Order Effect: Road closed from its junction with South Street.
Reason for Order: Works to repair collapsed pipe, closed
08.00hrs-17.00hrs.
Order Commences: 28 February 2024 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 3 March 2024.
Access & Diversion: No diversion available.

B41140 NUNEATON ROAD, OVER WHITACRE
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic between the junctions
of Monwode Lea Lane & Sadlers Meadow.
Reason for Order: Carriageway patching and associated works,
09.30hrs-15.30hrs.
Order Commences: 28 February 2024 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 28 February 2024.
Access & Diversion: Nuneaton Road, Birmingham Road, Ansley
Road, Astley Lane, Park Lane, Nuneaton Road, Tamworth Road,
Slowley Hill, Tamworth Road and vice versa.

C8 TAMWORTH ROAD, D331 SMITH STREET, D333 WOOD
STREET & C7 BOULTERS LANE, WOOD END
Order Effect: Roads closed to vehicular traffic as follows: Tamworth
Road closed between its junctions with Sherwood Close and
Birchfield Close, Smith Street, Wood Street & Boulters Lane closed
for a distance of 20 metres from their junctions with Tamworth Road.
Reason for Order: Footway reconstruction works and associated
works, 09.30hrs-15.30hrs weekdays only.
Order Commences: 26 February 2024 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 15 March 2024.
Access & Diversion: For Tamworth Road – Edge Hill, Trinity Road,
A5 Watling Street, Boot Hill, The Common, Main Road, Windmill Lane
(Wigston Hill), Atherstone Lane, Atherstone Road, Knowle Hill, Brick
Kiln Lane, Hurley Common, Tamworth Road and vice versa,
For Smith Street & Wood Street – No Suitable Diversion, For Boulters
Lane – Access/Egress via Lower House Lane/Gipsy Lane whilst
works are in progress.

GYPSY LANE & COLESHILL ROAD, WATER ORTON
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: To safely enable carriageway patching works.
Order Commences: 29 February 2024 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 6 March 2024.
Access & Diversion: Watton Lane, Coleshill Road and vice versa.

Warwickshire County Council proposes to make the
following Temporary Traffic Orders:
C7 GYPSY LANE, LOWER HOUSE LANE, & BOULTERS LANE,
BADDESLEY ENSOR
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic between the junctions
of the A5 Watling Street and Tamworth Road.
Reason for Order: To enable works for the installation of piling.
Order Commences: 11 March 2024 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 28 March 2024.
Access & Diversion: A5 Watling Street, Boot Hill, The Common,
Main Road, Windmill Lane (Wigston Hill), Atherstone Lane,
Atherstone Road, Knowle Hill, Brick Kiln Lane, Hurley Common,
Tamworth Road and vice versa.

C7 BRIDGE STREET & C5 HIGH STREET, POLESWORTH
Order Effect: Roads closed to vehicular traffic as follows: Bridge
Street – 11/12 March closed between the B5000 Grendon Road and
High Street, High Street – 12 March closed between Bridge Street/
Station Road and Coronation Avenue. NB: Works on High Street will
not commence until works are completed on Bridge Street.
Reason for Order: Carriageway patching and associated works,
09.30hrs-15.30hrs.
Order Commences: 11 March 2024 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 12 March 2024.
Access & Diversions: For Bridge Street: B5000 Grendon Road,
Warton Lane, Warton Hill, Kisses Barn Lane, Stipers Hill, High Street
and vice versa. For High Street: Bridge Street, B5000 Grendon Road,
Warton Lane, Warton Hill, Kisses Barn Lane, Stipers Hill, High Street
and vice versa.

TEMPLE WAY, COLESHILL
Order Effect: Road closed between Stanhope Way and Station Road.
Reason for Order: To safely enable works to rebuild a water hydrant
chamber.
Order Commences: 12 March 2024 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 14 March 2024.
Access & Diversion: Station Road, Roman Way, Temple Way and
vice versa.
Contractor: Go Traffic Management, Tel: 08455 040 123.
For all of the above temporary orders, pedestrian access to and
egress from properties and land situated adjacent to the length of
road to be closed will be maintained at all times. Vehicular access
will be maintained where possible.
