What is happening?

OXFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

(BUCKLAND PARISH) (20 MPH SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2024

NOTICE is given that on 19 February 2024 Oxfordshire County Council made the above order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The order, which comes into force on 26 February introduce a 20mph speed limit throughout Buckland, replacing the 30mph speed limit in its entirety in the process - leading outwards to the following points:

1. Buckland Road - a point 36 metres south of its junction with Summerside Road,

2. St Georges Road - a point 84 metres west of its junction with Buckland Road.

(KINGSTON BAGPUIZE WITH SOUTHMOOR AND LONGWORTH PARISHES) (SPEED LIMITS) 2024

NOTICE is given that on 19 February 2024 Oxfordshire County Council made the above order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The order, which comes into force on 26 February introduces a 20mph speed limit

within Longworth, replacing the previous 30mph speed limit in its entirety in the process, leading out to the following points:

1. Appleton Road - a point 425 metres east of its junction with Harris's Lane,

2. Hinton Road - a point 110 metres west of its junction with Pine Woods Road,

3. Pine Woods Road - a point 155 metres south of its junction with Hinton Road.

The Oxfordshire County Council (Kingston Bagpuize with Southmoor and Longworth Parishes) (Speed Limits) Order 2022 is revoked/replaced.

STRATFIELD BRAKE, A4260 FRIEZE WAY (KIDLINGTON)

NOTICE is given that Oxfordshire County Council in exercise of their powers under section 122 of the LGA1972 intends to appropriate land at Stratfield Brake to provide a footpath/cycleway as highway maintainable by the public expense leading from Frieze Way into the sports facility car park at Stratfield Brake.

Anyone who wishes to comment on these proposals, specifying the grounds on which they are made may be sent in writing to the address below or via the email address provided, no later than the 15 March 2024. The County Council will consider responses and representations received in response to this Notice. They may be disseminated widely for these purposes and made available to the public. A plan giving more details of the proposals is available for public inspection at County Hall, New Road, Oxford, OX1 1ND.
