Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
(C2061 Thicknall Lane, Broome) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Proposed Order: To close that part of C2061 Thicknall Lane from its junction with U13400 Thicknall Farm Lane for a distance of 40 metres in a westerly direction.
Reason: Utility work by Severn Trent Water.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: C2061 Thicknall Lane, A450 Worcester Road, C2135 Broome Lane and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day. Commencing: 18 March 2024.
(C2024 Pensax) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Proposed Order: To close that part of C2024 Pensax from its junction with B4202 Worcester Road to its junction with C2192 Pensax Common.
Reason: Installation of new vehicle crossing by WCC.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: C2192 Pensax Common, C2192 Penn Hall Lane, C2192 Menith Wood to Malvern Hill boundary, C2192 Menith Wood, B4202 Worcester Road, and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 4 days. Commencing: 19 March 2024.
(C2131 Ranters Bank, Rock) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Proposed Order: To close that part of C2131 Ranters Bank from its junction with A4117 Cleobury Road for a distance of 175 metres in a south westerly direction.
Reason: Kerbing to prevent flooding by WCC.
Exemptions: To allow the works to be undertaken.
Please note: there is no access for vehicles to any land or premises fronting the highway affected but pedestrians may access; Access cannot be maintained for all emergency services during the works. Please use the alternative route.
Alternative route: A4117 Cleobury Road, A456 Tenbury Road, C2196 Buckeridge Lane, C2131 Ranters Bank and vice versa.

(B4190 Welch Gate, Bewdley) (Temporary One-Way Closure) Order 2024
Order made: To close that part of B4190 Welch Gate in a Southerly direction only towards Bewdley from its junction with U105011 Sandy Bank to its junction with B4190 Load Street.
Reason: Brickwork repairs by BM Babbage.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: B4190 Winbrook, B4190 Cleobury Road, A456 Bewdley Bypass, B4190 Kidderminster Road, B4190 Beales Corner, B4190 Load Street.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days (Sun 25 February and Sunday 3 March 2024).
(U13612 Well Lane, Rushock) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Order made: To close that part of U13612 Well Lane from its junction with A442 Droitwich Road to its junction with C2082 Cakebole Lane.
Reason: Carriageway patching by WCC.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: A442 Droitwich Road, U13613 New Farm Lane, C2082 Cakebole Lane and vice versa. Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day between 24 February 2024 and 11 March 2024.
(C2193 Gorst Hill, Rock) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Order made: To close that part of C2193 Gorst Hill from its junction with U10006 Dark Lane for a distance of 120 metres in a south easterly direction.
Reason: Overhead Works by Openreach.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: C2193 Gorst Hill, C2021 Bliss Gate Road, U10005 Gorst Hill Road and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day. Commencing: 22 February 2024.
(C2186 Tandys Lane, Harvington) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Proposed Order: To close that part of C2186 Tandys Lane from its junction with A450 Worcester Road to its junction with U13602 Hill Pool.
Reason: Drainage/flood alleviation work by WCC.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: A450 Worcester Road, C2185 Woodrow Lane, C2186 Tandys Lane and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days. Commencing: 20 March 2024.
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (As Amended) Worcestershire County Council (Wyre Forest District - Kidderminster area) (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2007 (Variation) Order 2024 [Disabled Persons' Parking Place on Shrubbery Street, Kidderminster]
Worcestershire County Council are to consider making an Order the effect of which will be to create a disabled persons' parking place on the following lengths and sides of road in Kidderminster:-Shrubbery Street
From a point, 80m northwest, from its junction with Shrubbery Gardens, for a distance of 6.6m and from a point 68.5m, for a distance of 6.6m, both in a southeast direction.
The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons' vehicles. The validity of the Council's powers in making the Order or this exercise of them may be questioned by application to the High Court within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made.
The County of Hereford and Worcester (B4193 Stourport to Hartlebury Road and Wilden Lane, Stourport-On-Severn and Hartlebury) (Prohibition of Commercial Vehicles Over 7.5 Tonnes) Order 1983 (Revocation) and (Relocation) Order 2024 On 8 February 2024 Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effect of which will be to revoke and relocate the existing prohibition of heavy commercial vehicles exceeding 7.5 tonnes maximum gross weight from proceeding along that part of: B4193 Hartlebury Road - From its junction with A449 Worcester Road to its junction with the A4025 Worcester Road.
Wilden Lane - From its junction with B4193 Stourport to Hartlebury Road to its junction with Hillary Road.
The Order will contain exemptions to allow access for certain purposes.
The Order will come into operation on 29 February 2024.
