What is happening?

Notice is hereby given that Salford City Council has made
the CITY OF SALFORD (CHAPEL STREET, SALFORD)
(PROHIBITION OF LEFT TURN) ORDER 2024. The Order
will introduce the following provision - No Left Turn - From
Chapel Street eastbound carriageway - Into Bloom Street.
(The Prohibition of U-Turn and Prohibition of Right Turn that
were part of the proposals will not be brought into effect.)
The Order was made on 13 February 2024 and will come
into effect on 27 February 2024. A copy of the Order and
plan are available for inspection at Swinton Gateway, 100
Chorley Road, Swinton, M27 6BP Monday to Friday 9am to
6pm. Anyone wishing to question the validity of the Order
or any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not
within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation
Act 1984 or that any requirement of that Act or of any
instrument made under it has not been complied with in
relation to the Order may within 6 weeks from 13 February
2024 apply to the High Court for such purpose.
