ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 (AS AMENDED) SECTION 14(2)
(HURST STREET, BORDESLEY & HIGHGATE – No. T7197975) (NOTICE OF SUSPENSION OF CYCLE LANE) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is hereby given that Birmingham City Council have made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any cyclist from proceeding along the contra flow cycle on HURST STREET between its junction with Kent Street and its junction with Sherlock Street.
The suspension of contra flow cycle lane is required to facilitate the installation of a new development.
Access to frontages will be maintained as necessary.
These prohibitions shall apply only during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by The Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
The Order will come into operation on 23rd of February 2024 and will remain in force for a period of TWO WEEKS or until the works are completed whichever is the earlier.
