NOTICE is given that Cambridgeshire County Council intends after seven days, to make an Order pursuant to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, the effect of which:
Bird Lane, Hail Weston
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024-404
Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Bird Lane, Hail Weston as lies between Barker Close and the B645.
The alternative route for vehicles is via B645 - High Street and vice versa.
The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate electrical connection and associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway and it will come into operation on 4 March 2024 and continue until these works have finished or on the 3 September 2025 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 4 March and 8 March 2024.
Church Meadows, St Neots
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024-289
Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Church Meadows, St Neots as lies between numbers 5 and 17.
The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate telecommunications and associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway and it will come into operation on 13 March 2024 and continue until these works have finished or on the 12 September 2025 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 09:30hrs and 17:00hrs 13 March to 15 March 2024.
Broughton Lane, Broughton
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024-302
Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Broughton Lane, Broughton as lies between Causeway Road and Broughton Footpath 7.
The alternative route for vehicles is via Warboys Road - Bridge Road -A141 - Broughton Lane, Warboys and vice versa.
The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate water main installation and associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway and it will come into operation on 11 March 2024 and continue until these works have finished or on the 12 September 2025 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 11 March and 15 March 2024.
West Perry (B661), Perry
(TEMPORARY 40MPH SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2024-306
Is to impose a 40mph speed limit along West Perry (B661), Perry as lies between Keepers Lodge and Lymage Road.
The Order will be effective, for safety purposes, when signs are in place indicating the speed limit along the whole or any part of the above mentioned length of road whilst works are in progress or temporarily suspended.
The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate installation of water relief valve, water meter and associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway and it will come into operation on 18 March 2024 and continue until these works have finished or on the 17 September 2025 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 07:00hrs and 19:00hrs 18 March to 6 May 2024.
Potton End, Eltisley
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024-317
Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Potton End, Eltisley as lies between Orchard Grove and Meadow View.
The alternative route for vehicles is via Potton End - St Neots Road -B1040 and vice versa.
The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate electrical connection and associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway and it will come into operation on 4 March 2024 and continue until these works have finished or on the 3 September 2025 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 4 March and 5 March 2024.
Fen Road, Conington
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024-330
Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Fen Road, Conington as lies between points 20m either side of the railway level crossing situated there as measured from its gates or barriers.
The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate essential maintenance works which are being carried out on or near this highway and it will come into operation on 25 March 2024 and continue until these works have finished or on the 24 September 2025 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out overnight between 23:59hrs 25 March and 06:00hrs 26 March 2024.
High Street, Colne
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024-331
Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along High Street, Colne as lies between Earith Road and The Vineyard.
The alternative route for vehicles is via High Street - Bluntisham Road -Colne Road (C120), Bluntisham - East Street - High Street - A1123 -B1050 and vice versa.
The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate telecommunications and associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway and it will come into operation on 13 March 2024 and continue until these works have finished or on the 12 September 2025 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 09:30hrs and 15:30hrs 13 March 2024.
The Hollow, Hartford
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024-338
Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along The Hollow, Hartford as lies between number 10 and The Spinney.
The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate telecommunications and associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway and it will come into operation on 19 March 2024 and continue until these works have finished or on the 18 September 2025 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 08:00hrs and 18:00hrs 19 March 2024.
The Broadway and The Waits, St Ives
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024-372
Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along The Broadway and The Waits, St Ives as lies between The Waits and Crown Street; St Georges Road and The Broadway.
The alternative route for vehicles is via Crown Street - Bridge Street -Merryland and for The Waits via The Broadway - Crown Street - The Pavement - Market Hill - Market Road - Oliver Road - The Quadrant -East Street - Globe Place - North Road - Ramsey Road - The Waits.
The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate Streetscape improvement and associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway and it will come into operation on 4 March 2024 and continue until these works have finished or on the 3 September 2025 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 4 March and 7 March 2024.
Station Lane, Offord Cluny
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024-374
Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Station Lane, Offord Cluny as lies between points 20m either side of the railway level crossing situated there as measured from its gates or barriers.
The alternative route for vehicles is via B1043 - The Causeway, Godmanchester - B1044 - B1514 - A1307 - B1514 - A1 Silver Street, Buckden - Church Street - Mill Road - Station Lane and vice versa or via B1043 - Mill Lane, St Neots - B1041 - A1 - High Street, Buckden - Church Street - Mill Road - Station Lane and vice versa.
The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate essential maintenance works which are being carried out on or near this highway and it will come into operation on 18 March 2024 and continue until these works have finished or on the 17 September 2025 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out overnight between 23:00hrs and 05:30hrs w18 March to 20 March 2024.
Bearscroft Lane, Godmanchester
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024-378
Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Bearscroft Lane, Godmanchester as lies between the A1198 and Ash Tree Avenue.
The alternative route for vehicles is via Ash Tree Avenue - A1198 and vice versa.
The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate junction improvements and associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway and it will come into operation on 4 March 2024 and continue until these works have finished or on the 3 September 2025 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 4 March and 29 March 2025.
Banks End (A1123), Wyton
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024-397
Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Banks End (A1123), Wyton as lies between A141 roundabout and 100m south on both sides of the carriageway.
The alternative route for vehicles is via A141 - B1090 - A1123 and vice versa.
The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate electrical duct laying and associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway and it will come into operation on 11 March 2024 and continue until these works have finished or on the 10 September 2025 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 21:00hrs and 05:30hrs 11 March to 16 March 2024.
Needingworth Road (A1123), St Ives
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024-017
Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Needingworth Road (A1123),
St Ives as lies between Silvaco and the BP roundabout.
The alternative route for vehicles is via A1096 - A1307 - Pathfinder Link
Road, Huntingdon - B1514 - A1123 and vice versa.
The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate installation of a Toucan crossing and associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway and it will come into operation on 4 March 2024 and continue until these works have finished or on the 3 September 2025 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 20:00hrs and 06:00hrs 4 March and 30 April 2024.
Graveley Way, Hilton
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024-243
Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Graveley Way, Hilton as lies between the B1040 and Chequers Croft.
The alternative route for vehicles is via A1198 - B1040 and vice versa.
The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate telecommunications and associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway and it will come into operation on 18 March 2023 and continue until these works have finished or on the 17 September 2025 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 18 March and 20 March 2024.

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Hogarth Close, St Ives as lies between number 42 and Constable Road.
The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate telecommunications and associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway and it will come into operation on 4 March 2024 and continue until these works have finished or on the 3 September 2025 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 09:30hrs and 17:00hrs 4 March to 5 March 2024.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024-258
Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Mickle Hill, Keyston as lies between Cherry Hill Farm and the B663.
The alternative route for vehicles is via Bythorn Road, Covington - Keyston Road - Covington Road - B645 - Church Road, Hargrave - Church Street -Raunds Road - Hargrave Road, Raunds - B663 and vice versa.
The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate carriageway patching and associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway and it will come into operation on 1 March 2024 and continue until these works have finished or on the 31 August 2025 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 09:30hrs and 15:30hrs 1 March 2024.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024-288
Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Marley Road, St Ives as lies between the B1040 and Ramsey Road.
The alternative route for vehicles is via Ramsey Road - A1123 - B1040 and vice versa.
The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate carriageway patching and associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway and it will come into operation on 25 March 2024 and continue until these works have finished or on the 24 September 2025 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 09:30hrs and 15:30hrs 25 March to 29 March 2024.

Is to stop any pedestrian from proceeding along various footpaths as set out in Schedule 1 below.
Nothing in this Order shall prevent access and egress from premises or land adjacent to the highway mentioned in Schedule 1.
The Order is necessary for safety reasons to facilitate A428 improvement scheme and associated works.
The proposed Order will come into operation on 1 March 2024 and will continue until these works have finished or on the 31 August 2024 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that this order will apply to the locations, at various times during the dates specified in the Schedule.

The proposed Order will come into operation on 1 March 2024 and will continue until these works have finished or on the 31 August 2025 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that this order will apply to the locations, at various times during the dates specified in the Schedule.
Access will be maintained to properties affected by these orders. The above orders shall not apply to any persons lawfully engaged in connection with any works for which these are made, any member of the Police Force, Fire and Rescue Service, Ambulance Service, a vehicle being used by Special Forces during the execution of their duties or to any person acting with the permission or upon the direction of a Police Officer in uniform.
