Hay Lane - Temporary Road Closure For New Water Connection
What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE HAY LANE, FOSTON
WHEN: 11th March 2024 to 14th March 2024 (00:00 to 23:59).
WHERE: Hay Lane, (from a point approximately 100 metres from its junction with Uttoxeter Road for a distance of 60 metres to the north), Foston.
REASON: To facilitate a new water connection.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Hay Lane, Uttoxeter Road, Woodyard Lane, Cote Bottom Lane, Woodhouse Lane and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will reopen as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.
Derbyshire County Council apologises for any inconvenience caused while work takes place. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190.
The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
