What is happening?

Notice Of Intention To Install Speed Cushions In Crosshall Road, St. Neots)
Cambridgeshire County Council proposes to install nine sets of speed cushions to be located in Crosshall Road at a point 190m south of Milton Avenue (o/s property no.81); at a point 111m south of Milton Avenue (o/s property no.93); at a point 65m south of Milton Avenue (o/s property no.97); at a point 28m south of Milton Avenue (o/s property nos.101); at a point 99m north of Milton Avenue (rear of nos.12/14 Stevenson Court); at a point 27m north-west of Savile's Close (o/s property no.118); at a point 115m north-west of Savile's Close (o/s property nos.175/177); at a point 152m north-west of Savile's Close (o/s property nos.179/181); and at a point 190m north-west of Savile's Close (o/s property nos.183/185). Each set of speed cushions to consist of two individual cushions 1.65m wide x 2.0m long x 75mm nominal high.
(Crosshall Road, Milton Avenue and Wordsworth Avenue, St. Neots) (Prohibition Of Waiting) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that Cambridgeshire County Council proposes to make the above named Order under the powers contained in the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of this Order will be to introduce No Waiting at any time (double yellow lines) on the east side of Crosshall Road from a point 7m north of the north flank wall of property no.6 Crosshall Road southwards for 50m; on the west side of Crosshall Road from a point in line with the south flank wall of property no.47 Crosshall Road southwards for 28m; on the north side of Milton Avenue from a point 19m west of Wordsworth Avenue eastwards for 40m; on the south side of Milton Avenue from a point 27m west of Wordsworth Avenue eastwards for 48m; and on both sides of Wordsworth Avenue from Milton Avenue southwards for 25m.
The above proposals are intended to reduce traffic speeds and address on-street parking issues.
