C85 THE CAUSEWAY TO SHIPLEYMOOR FARM GLANTON
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the C85 The Causeway To Shipleymoor Farm Junction Glanton from its junction with the C89 heading in an easterly direction for length of 115 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 14th March 2024 until the 15th March 2024.
It is expected that the road will only be closed on the 14th March 2024 between 08:00 hours until 18:00 hours however, the order will remain in place until 15th March 2024.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via the C85, A697, C84, C83 and vice-versa.

The closure has been requested by USL on behalf of Openreach to replace a telegraph pole. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
