C251 NEWTON HALL TO NEWTON FELL HOUSE NEWTON
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the C251 Newton Hall To Newton Fell House from its junction with the U8194 heading in a northerly direction for a length of 312 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 26th February 2024 until the 8th March 2024.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 26th February 2024 until the 1st March 2024 and that it will be closed at all times during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 8th March 2024.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via the C251, C246, C247, U8194 and vice-versa.

The closure has been requested by Northumbrian Water to install a new water connection to a new property without water. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
