U1048 BILL LAW JUNCTION
TO HETTON LIME WORKS JUNCTION WOOLER
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U1048 Bill Law Junction To Hetton Lime Works Junction Wooler from its junction with South Road heading in a north easterly direction for a length of 653 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 26th February 2024 until the 15th March 2024.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 26th February 2024 until the 1st March 2024 between the hours of 09:30 until 15:30 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 15th March 2024.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via the U1047,C37 and vice-versa

The closure has been requested by Sunbelt Rentals on behalf of Openreach to enable engineers to safely carry out civil works. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
