What is happening?

DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
A623 TOWN END, BOLSOVER

WHEN: 25th February 2024 to 13th March 2024 17:00 to 04:00 (Sunday hours - 17:00 to 00:00 Weekday hours - 19:00 to 04:00 -with no noisy work after 00:00)
WHERE: A623 Town End, Bolsover between its junction with A623 Station Road/Hill Top and its junction with Welbeck Road.
REASON: To facilitate carriageway resurfacing.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: A623 Station Road, Bolsover Hill, Villas Road, New Station Road, A623 Langwith Road, A623 Hornscroft Road and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.
Derbyshire County Council apologises for any inconvenience caused while work takes place. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190.
The County Council has made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
