A619 Rother Way - Temporary Road Closure

DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
A619 ROTHER WAY, CHESTERFIELD

WHEN: 26th February 2024 to 9th March 2024 (19:00 to 05:00 each night)
WHERE: A619 Rother Way, Chesterfield between Brimington Interchange to Chesterfield Road Interchange.
REASON: To facilitate carriageway resurfacing works on the A61 Inner Relief Road.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: A619 Chesterfield Road, Brimington Road, Brewery Street, Donut Interchange, B6543 Sheffield Road, Lockoford Road and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.
Derbyshire County Council apologises for any inconvenience caused while work takes place. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190.
The County Council has made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
