Windley - Temporary Road Closure
What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
WINDLEY, BELPER
WHEN: 27th February 2024 (09:30 to 17:00)
WHERE: Windley (from a point approximately 280 metres north of its junction with Gunhills Lane for an approximate distance of 330 metres), Belper.
REASON: To facilitate remedial works on water apparatus.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Windley, Gunhills Lane, Windley Lane, B5023 Wirksworth Road, A517 Ashbourne Road and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.
Derbyshire County Council apologises for any inconvenience caused while work takes place. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190.
The County Council has made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
