Swathwick Lane - Temporary Road Closure
What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
SWATHWICK LANE, WINGERWORTH
WHEN: 8th March 2024 (09:30 to 15:30).
WHERE: Swathwick Lane, Wingerworth between its junction with Watson Lane for a distance of 120 metres in a north westerly direction.
REASON: To facilitate tree works.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Swathwick Lane (from point of closure), Harper Hill, A362 Matlock Road, Whitecotes Lane, St Augustines Road, A61 Derby Road, Langer Lane, Swathwick Lane (to point of closure) and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.
Derbyshire County Council apologises for any inconvenience caused while work takes place. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190.
The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
