ROTHERHAM METROPOLITAN BOROUGH COUNCIL

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1) PART OF MISSION FIELD AND PART OF HIGHFIELDS BRAMPTON BIERLOW ROTHERHAM (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC)

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along the two parts of road specified in the Schedule to this notice for short periods of time between Monday 26th February and Saturday 25th May 2024.

NOTICE is further given that the alternative route for vehicles affected by the Order is via local neighbouring streets except for cul de sacs.

The reason for the prohibitions is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the parts of road (Carriageway resurfacing).

SCHEDULE

(i)    Mission Field from its junction with Cliffe Road to the end of the cul de sacs.

(ii)   Highfields from its junction with A6022 Sandygate to the end of the cul de sacs.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1) PART OF BEECH AVENUE BRECKS PART OF BLACK CARR ROAD WICKERSLEY AND PART OF SPRINGFIELD ROAD WICKERSLEY ROTHERHAM (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC)

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along the three parts of road specified in the Schedule to this Notice. The part of Beech Avenue will be closed from Monday 1st. April until Monday 15th. April 2024. The parts of Black Carr Road and Springfield Road will be closed for periods of time between Monday  26th. February and Friday 15th. March 2024. Only one part of Black Carr Road  and Springfield Road will be closed at a time.

The reason for the prohibitions is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the three parts of road (gas pipe renewals).

SCHEDULE

(i)    Beech Avenue from its most westerly junction with The Brow to its most easterly junction with A631 Bawtry Road (the alternative route is via Beech Avenue, A631 Bawtry Road and vice versa).

(ii)   Black Carr Road from its junction with A631 Bawtry Road for a distance of approximately 30 metres in a northerly direction (the alternative route is via Springfield Road, Melciss Road and vice versa).

(iii)   Springfield Road from its junction with A631 Bawtry Road for a distance of approximately 30 metres in a northerly direction (the alternative route is via Black Carr Road, Melciss Road and vice versa).

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1) PART OF A6123 ALDWARKE LANE RAWMARSH ROTHERHAM (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC)

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council intends (not less than seven days from the date of this Notice) to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that part of A6123 Aldwarke Lane from the western side of the 11’3’’ rail bridge located near the Station Public House to the north western kerbline of the Minteq access road on up to 20 occasions between 8pm and 6am between Saturday 2nd. March and Thursday 1st. August 2024.

NOTICE is further given that the alternative route will be via A6123 Great Eastern Way, A6123 Taylors Lane, A6123 Mangham Road, A6123 Greasbrough Road, A6123 Greasbrough Street, A630 Centenary Way, A630 Fitzwilliam Road and vice versa.

The reason for the prohibition is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road (construction of a new access road and roundabout).

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1) PART OF A633 ROTHERHAM ROAD PARKGATE ROTHERHAM (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC)

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that part of A633 Rotherham Road from the junction outside Retail world to its junction with The Gateway from 10pm on Friday 23rd. February until 6am on Saturday 24th. February 2024.

NOTICE is further given that the alternative route for vehicles affected by the order is via A633 Rotherham Road, A633 Rawmarsh Road, St. Anns Road, Grafton Bridge roundabout, St. Anns Roundabout, Centenary Way, College Road roundabout, Greasbrough Street, Greasbrough Road, Car Hill roundabout, Mangham Road, Taylors Lane, Taylors Lane roundabout and vice versa.

The reason for the prohibition is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road ( Rail bridge inspection ).

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1) PART OF PUBLIC FOOTPATH NO.12 SWINTON ROTHERHAM (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF PEDESTRIANS)

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council intends (not less than seven days from the date of this Notice) to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any pedestrian from proceeding along that part of Public Footpath No.12 Swinton at the point where it goes under the railway bridge at Grid reference SK 4616 9945 on Monday 4th. March 2024.

NOTICE is further given that there is no alternative route for pedestrians affected by the Order.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1) PART OF NORMANVILLE AVENUE BRINSWORTH ROTHERHAM (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC)

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that part of Normanville Avenue from its junction with A631 Bawtry Road for a distance of approximately 50m in a southerly direction on Friday 1st. March 2024.

NOTICE is further given that the alternative route is via A631 Bawtry road, Brinsworth Lane, Letard Drive, Normanville Avenue and vice versa.

The reason for the prohibitions is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road (Telecom works).

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1) HAREHILLS ROAD STAG LANE BROOM DRIVE HAVERCROFT ROAD STAG CRESCENT AND STAG WILLOW CLOSE BROOM ROTHERHAM (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC)

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along the six parts of road specified in the Schedule to this notice for short periods of time between Monday 26th February and Friday 24th May 2024.

NOTICE is further given that the alternative route for vehicles affected by the Order is via local neighbouring streets except for cul de sacs.

The reason for the prohibitions is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the six parts of road (Carriageway resurfacing).

SCHEDULE

(i)    Harehills Road from its junction with Broom Road to its junction with Broom Valley Road.

(ii)   Stag Lane from its junction with Wickersley Road to its junction with  Broom Lane.

(iii)   Broom Drive at one of more of its junctions with Stag Lane.

(iv)   Havercroft Road at one of more of its junctions with Stag Lane.

(v)   Stag Crescent at one of more of its junctions with Stag Lane.

(vi)   Stag Willow Close at one of more of its junctions with Stag Lane.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1) GRASBY COURT THE LINGS AND SEDGE CLOSE BRAMLEY ROTHERHAM (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC)

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along the three roads specified in the Schedule to this notice from Monday 26th. February until Friday 3rd. May 2024. NOTICE is further given that there is no alternative route for vehicles affected by the Order, the roads are cul de sacs.

The reason for the prohibitions is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the roads (Carriageway works).

SCHEDULE

(i)    Grasby Court from its junction with Bigby Way to the end of the cul de sacs.

(ii)   The Lings from its junction with Flash Lane to the end of the cul de sac.
