NOTICE OF MAKING AN ORDER
PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION AND DEFINITIVE MAP & STATEMENT
MODIFICATION ORDER – HIGHWAYS ACT 1980 WILDLIFE AND COUNTRYSIDE ACT 1981
(PUBLIC FOOTPATH NO 5 (PART) DILHORNE PARISH) PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION AND DEFINITIVE
MAP AND STATEMENT MODIFICATION ORDER 2024
The above Order, made on 23/1/24 under Section 119 of the Highways Act 1980 and Section 53A(2) of the Wildlife &
Countryside Act 1981, will divert the full width of that part of Public Footpath No 5 Dilhorne commencing at Grid
Reference 397670 345597 and running in a generally south-westerly direction for a distance of approximately
291 metres to Grid Reference 397481 345385 to a line commencing at Grid Reference 397670 345597 and then
running in a generally southerly direction for a distance of approximately 164 metres to Grid Reference 397677 345437
then turning and running generally south-westerly direction for a distance of approximately 152 metres to Grid Reference
397557 345348 then turning generally north–westerly for a distance of approximately 103 metres to Grid Reference
397481 345385 as shown on the Order Map. It will also modify the Definitive Map and Statement for Staffordshire
accordingly.
A copy of the Order and Order map have been placed and may be seen free of charge during normal office hours at the
offices of Staffordshire County Council, Corporate Reception, 1 Staffordshire Place, Tipping St, Stafford, ST16 2DH
Mon-Fri. 8.30 am to 5.00 pm. Copies of the Order and map may be bought there at the price of 10p per A4 page; £2 per
map.
Any representations about or objections to the Order may be sent in writing to the Director of Corporate Services,
2 Staffordshire Place, Tipping Street, Stafford ST16 2DH not later than 5.00 pm on 3/4/24. Please state the grounds on
which they are made.
If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, the Staffordshire County Council
may confirm the Order as an unopposed Order. If any Order is sent to the Secretary of State for the Environment, Food
& Rural Affairs for confirmation, any representations and objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the
Order.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 –
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC
Notice is hereby given that Staffordshire County Council on 20/2/24 made an Order the effect of which
is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in that length of:
Fawfield Head, Longnor. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please
visit https://one.network/?tm=13693631. The Order will come into operation on 26/2/24 and the said works will
commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 27/2/24. The Order
will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the remedial works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the
road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
Burton St, Leek. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit

on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 28/2/24. The Order will remain
in force for a period of 18 months or until the rebuilding of a sluice valve chamber, which it is proposed to carry out on
or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
Beat Ln, Rushton Spencer. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please

commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 26/2/24. The Order
will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the pole testing works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near
the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
Stone Rd, Bramshall. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit

on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 27/2/24. The Order will remain
in force for a period of 18 months or until the level crossing works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road
have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
Notice is hereby given that Staffordshire County Council intend not less than 7 days from the date of this
notice to make an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along:
Calwich Bank, Ellastone. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please
visit https://one.network/?tm=137109056. The Order will come into operation on 11/3/24 and the said works will
commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 22/3/24. The Order
will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the structural repairs, which it is proposed to carry out on or near
the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
Lid Ln, Cheadle. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit

on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 3/5/24. The Order will remain
in force for a period of 18 months or until the gas main replacement works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near
the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 –
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC, TEMPORARY ONE WAY AND
TEMPORARY 10MPH SPEED RESTRICTION
Various Rds in Staffordshire - Preventative Pre-Patching Works. Notice is hereby given that Staffordshire
County Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order the effect of which is to
prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in those roads as listed in the schedule below. A temporary 10MPH Speed Limit and
One Way Order (where appropriate) will also be in force on each road. For more information regarding access

operation on 04/3/24 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the
works will be completed by 31/10/24. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the preventative
pre patching works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the roads have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
