NOTICE 2024

NOTICE is hereby given that the Council of the City and County of Swansea intends to make an Order in pursuance of its powers as contained in the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) (“the Act”) the effect of which is as set out in the Schedule(s) below. A copy of the proposed Order, Statement of Reasons and an appropriate plan may be inspected during normal office hours at the Civic Centre Oystermouth Road Swansea SA1 3SN. Any objections to the proposals should be submitted in writing setting out the reasons thereto to reach the undersigned at the above address or via E-mail at Legal.TrafficNotices@swansea.gov.uk by the 13th March 2024 quoting reference DVT-00275914/AVR.

SCHEDULE 1
REVOCATIONS
The existing Orders are revoked insofar as they are inconsistent with the proposals hereinafter contained which relate to the length or lengths of the road or roads referred to in the schedules hereto.

DUKE STREET
From the north eastern building line of No.10 Duke Street to the boundary line of No’s 7 & 8 Duke Street.
SCHEDULE 2
NO WAITING AT ANY TIME
RUSSELL STREET
On its south western side from its junction with the south eastern kerbline of Duke Street south eastwards for a distance of 56 metres (this matches the double yellow lines already laid on street)
DUKE STREET
On its south eastern side from its junction with the south western kerbline of Russell Street south westwards for a distance of 6 metres and from its junction with the northern kerbline of Brunswick Street north-eastwards for a distance of 6 metres.
On its north western side from its junction with the northern kerbline of Brunswick Street north-eastwards for a distance of 5 metres and from a point 10 metres south west of its junction with the southern kerbline of Caswell Street north-eastwards to a point 5 metres north east of the northern kerbline of Caswell Street.
CASWELL STREET
On both sides from its junction with the north western kerbline of Duke Street north westwards for a distance of 7 metres.
SCHEDULE 3
LIMITED WAITING, MONDAY TO SATURDAY, 8AM TO 6PM, 1 HOUR, NO RETURN WITHIN 2 HOURS RUSSELL STREET
On its south western side from a point 56 metres south east of its junction with the south eastern kerbline of Duke Street south eastwards to a point 30 metres north west of its junction with the northern kerbline of St Helens Road back lane.
DUKE STREET
On its south eastern side from a point 20 metres south west of its junction with the south western kerbline of Russell Street south westwards to a point 28 metres north east of its junction with the northern kerbline of Brunswick Street.
SCHEDULE 4
LIMITED WAITING, MONDAY TO SATURDAY, 8AM TO 6PM, 1 HOUR, NO RETURN WITHIN 2 HOURS, PERMIT HOLDERS EXEMPT
RUSSELL STREET
On its south western side from a point 7 metres north west of its junction with the north western kerbline of St Helens Road back lane north westwards for a distance of 23 metres.
DUKE STREET
On its south eastern side from a point 6 metres south west of its junction with the southern kerbline of Russell Street south westwards for a distance of 14 metres and from a point 6 metres north east of its junction with the northern kerbline of Brunswick Street north eastwards for a distance of 17 metres.
