HERTFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL:
(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF NETTLEDEN ROAD NORTH, LITTLE GADDESDEN) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Nettleden Road North, Little Gaddesden from a point 147m south east of its junction with B4506 Ringshall Road south eastwards for a distance of approximately 170m (“the Road”), except for access. An alternative route will be via Nettleden Road North, B4506 Ringshall Road, B440 (Main Road South/Hemel Hempstead Road), Hudnall Lane and Nettleden Road North.
The Order is needed because the installation of a new utility pole is proposed to be executed near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 8 March 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING
RESTRICTIONS IN VARIOUS ROADS IN HEMEL HEMPSTEAD
AND BERKHAMSTED) ORDER NO.2 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads (“the Roads”), except for access and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at any time on both sides of these lengths of Roads whilst works are in progress:-
1. that length of Grasmere Close, Hemel Hempstead from its junction with Malmes Croft north westwards, south westwards and north westwards for its entire length.
There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
2. the road situated to the rear of Nos.20-32 Heather Way, Hemel Hempstead from its junction with Figtree Hill north eastwards for its entire length.
There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
3. the road leading to Nos.43-57 Mayflower Avenue, Hemel Hempstead from its junction with Mayflower Avenue south westwards and south eastwards for its entire length. There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
4. that length of Ashley Close, Hemel Hempstead from its junction with Bennetts End Close south westwards for a distance of approximately 40m.
There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
5. the road fronting Nos.19-25 Cardy Road, Hemel Hempstead from its junction with Cardy Road north westwards for its entire length. There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
6. that length of Lombardy Drive, Berkhamsted from a point in line with the eastern boundary of No.21 Lombardy Drive north westwards, north eastwards and south westwards for its entire length. There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
7. that length of Westview Rise, Hemel Hempstead from its junction with Lower Adeyfield Road south westwards, north westwards and south eastwards for its entire length.
There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
8. that length of Copper Beech Close, Hemel Hempstead from its junction with B4505 Box Lane north westwards and south westwards for its entire length.
There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
9. the road leading to Nos.58-69 The Lawns, Hemel Hempstead from its junction with The Lawns south eastwards for its entire length. There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 11 March 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF HIGHFIELD LANE, HEMEL HEMPSTEAD) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Highfield Lane, Hemel Hempstead from its junction with Nicholas Way north eastwards to its junction with The Grazings, a distance of approximately 45m (“the Road”), except for access. An alternative route will be via Highfield Lane, B487 Queensway, Widmore Drive and Highfield Lane.
The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 26 February 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF STATION ROAD, BERKHAMSTED) ORDER NO.2 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Station Road, Berkhamsted from its junction with New Road south eastwards for a distance of approximately 126m (“the Road”), except for access.
An alternative route will be via Lower Kings Road, A4251 High Street, Ravens Lane, Gravel Path and Station Road. The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 27 February 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council in order to improve road safety proposes under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to introduce a new 20 mph zone, a new 40 mph speed limit and a prohibition and restriction of stopping and waiting on the school keep clear markings in parts of Tring as specified in Schedules 1, 2 and 3 to this Notice.
It is also proposed under sections 90A - 90F of the Highways Act
1980 and in accordance Dundale Road, Silk Mill Way, Wingrave Road,
Brook Street and Grove Road, with The Highways (Road Humps) Regulations 1999, to install flat topped road humps and speed cushions in those lengths of Tring as specified in Schedule 4 to this Notice.
