M5 Motorway, Junction 13 - Prohibition Of Traffic For Resurfacing Works

THE M5 MOTORWAY (JUNCTION 13)
(TEMPORARY RESTRICTION AND PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that National Highways Limited (a) has made an Order on the M5 Motorway in the County of Gloucestershire to allow resurfacing works and associated maintenance to be carried out in safety.
The works are expected to take place commencing on or after 24 February 2024 and be completed by 26 February 2024.
The effect of the Order will be to:
(a) impose a mandatory 50 mph speed limit on the M5 northbound from the southern overbridge of the Junction 13 circulatory carriageway to Grove Lane Overbridge;
(b) authorise the closure of the northbound entry slip road at M5 Junction 13.
The speed limit (which will not apply to emergency service vehicles) and closures will be clearly indicated by traffic signs throughout the works.
The Order will come into force on 22 February 2024 and have a maximum duration of 18 months.
