What is happening?

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURES MOSSOP STREET Footway Closure
The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea has made an Order under The Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991 Schedule 1 - Section 14 (1) (A) and all other enabling powers prohibiting vehicles from proceeding or waiting in roads cited below. Where necessary to maintain access for residents and occupiers one way or two-way traffic working may be imposed on affected roads.
ROAD CLOSED TO PEDESTRIANS FOR DEVELOPMENT WORKS.
Mossop Street southern footway to be closed along the rear of 45 to 47 Denyer Street, from the junction of Rowlings Street to opposite the southwestern corner of number 2 First Street.
To be closed from 08.00hrs on Monday 26th February 2024 until 18.00hrs on Wednesday 31st July 2024.
Pedestrians are to be diverted to the northern footway between number 2 First Street to number 5 Mossop Street.
Access will be maintained for residents and occupiers.
Nothing in this Order shall apply to anything done with the permission of, or at the direction of, a police constable in uniform or a traffic warden.
Nothing in this Order shall apply to any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes, or for the purposes of a statutory undertaker in an emergency.
