Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the B1438 Yarmouth Road, Melton from the junction with Station Road for 35metres northbound to facilitate telecommunications pole renewal works. Other co-ordinated works mat also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be the A1152 Woods Lane, the A12, Bredfield, the B1438 High Street, the B1438 Yarmouth Road and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate on 19/02/2024 but, if necessary, the order mat remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

It is intended that the closure will operate from 19/02/2024 - 28/03/2024 from 8am - 4pm but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the Footpath 8, Stowmarket from Stowupland Road for 550 metres northbound for safety reasons to enable overhead cables to be diverted and construction of a water main diversion. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
This order continues in force the emergency measures operating since 29/01/2024.
It is intended that the closure will operate until 25/07/2024 or longer if extended by the Minister.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE B1077 MOW HILL, WITNESHAM
Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the B1077 Mow Hill, Witnesham from the junction with Burwash and the B1077 for 30 metres southbound to facilitate a foul gravity sewer connection. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be the B1078, the B1079, the A12, the A1214 and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 19/02/2024 - 28/02/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U8408 THE STREET, ELMSETT
Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the U8408 The Street, Elmsett from Whatfield Road to Flowton Road to facilitate pre surface dressing works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be Flowton Road, Elmsett, Flowton Road, Flowton, Elmsett Road, Hintlesham, Ipswich Road, Elmsett, Ipswich Road, Aldham, Elmsett Road, Aldham, Hadleigh Road and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 19/02/2024 - 21/02/2024 from 8am - 4pm with a further closure scheduled for associated works. If necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer it extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE B1080 IPSWICH ROAD, HOLBROOK
Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the B1080 Ipswich Road, Holbrook from 20 metres north of Potash Farm for 20 metres southbound to facilitate fire hydrant repairs. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be the B1080, the B1456, the A137, the B1080 and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 19/02/2024 - 21/02/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U8908 GEORGE STREET, HADLEIGH
Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the U8908 George Street, Hadleigh in the following phases:
1. from no. 93 to no. 111
2. from the junction with Stonehouse Road to no. 79
3. from no. 111 to no. 72a, and
4. from no. 74 to no. 90.
This is to facilitate laying microducts and cabling works. Other coordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be George Street, The Green, the b1070, Magdalen Road and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from:
• Phase 1: 28/02/2024 - 01/03/2024
• Phase 2: 02/03/2024 - 03/03/2024
• Phases 3 and 4: 04/03/2024 - 10/03/2024.
If necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).
