What is happening?

Mae Cyngor Bwrdeistref Sirol Wrecsam yn bwriadu gwneud GORCHYMYN (GWAHARDD TRAFFIG TRWODD) DROS DRO o dan Adran 14(1) o Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984, a ddaw i rym ar 04/03/2024, a fydd yn gwahardd unrhyw gerbyd rhag defnyddio'r dam hwnnw o Ffordd yr Orsaf, Brymbo i gyfeiriad dwyreiniol (rhwng Llys Nant a Ffordd Clayton) am 150 metr i alluogi CBSW i osod llwybr troed newydd a wal gynnal caergawell. Y llwybr amgen ar gyfer cerbydau a effeithir gan gau'r ffordd yw ar hyd B5101 New Road, B5101 Ffordd Kent, B5101 Ffordd Southsea, B5101 Ffordd Windsor, BS101 Ffordd y Bers, BS433 Ffordd Gatewen, B5433 Ffordd Wrecsam, B5433 Stryt yr Allt, B5433 Stryd Fawr a B5433 Ffordd yr Orsaf a bydd arwyddion yn dangos hynny. Bydd mynediad i gerbydau'r gwasanaethau brys a cherddwyr ar gael tra bydd y ffordd ar gau. Mae disgwyl i'r gwaharddiad bara am 3 wythnos, neu lai os bydd y gwaith wedi'i gwblhau'n gynt, ond dim mwy na 18 mis.

Wrexham County Borough Council intends to make a TEMPORARY (PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 effective from 04/03/2024 prohibiting any vehicle from using that length of the Station Road, Brymbo in an easterly direction (between Nant Court and Clayton Road) for a distance of 150 meters to enable WCBC to install a new footpath and Gabion retaining wall.

The alternative route for vehicles affected by the closure is via B5101 New Road, B5101 Kent Road, B5101 Southsea Road, B5101 Windsor Road, B5101 Berse Road, B5433 Gatewen Road, B5433 Wrexham Road, B5433 Hill Street, B5433 High Street and B5433 Station Road and will be signposted. Access for emergency vehicles and pedestrians will be maintained throughout the period of closure.

The prohibition is expected to last for 3 weeks, or until completion of the works if earlier, with a maximum duration of 18 months.
