What is happening?
Temporary Road Closure – Summer Lane, Exbury, New Forest
Notice Is Hereby Given that Hampshire County Council has made an order (Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 S.14) to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
Road To Be Closed: that part of Summer Lane between its junction with Exbury Gardens Railway and continuing 165 Metres Southeast.
Alternative Route: Exbury Road, Hampton Lane, Rollestone Road
Duration Of Order: from 5th March 2024 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 1 day between the hours 0930-1530).
Reasonable facilities will be provided to allow access to adjacent premises while the work is being carried out.
