Northarbour Road - Temporary Road Closure
What is happening?

Portsmouth City Council (Northarbour Road) (Temporary Road Closure) (Temporary Prohibition of Loading and Waiting) (No.27) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that Portsmouth City Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991.
The Order comes into operation from 19th February 2024 and the effect will be as follows:
A) TEMPORARY DIRECTIONAL CLOSURE AND PROHIBITION OF LOADING AND WAITING
NORTHARBOUR ROAD (WESTBOUND)
From its eastern junction with Western Road to outside Formaplex Technologies.
B) REASON FOR THE ORDER
To facilitate CityFibre works.
C) DURATION OF THE ORDER
From 19th February 2024 to 21st February 2024 or completion of the works, whichever is sooner. Notwithstanding the above, works will take place overnight between 16:00 to 05:00.
D) DIVERSION
Vehicles will be diverted from Western Road, Portsbridge Roundabout, Northern Road, Medina Road Roundabout, Medina Road, Spur Road Roundabout, Southampton Road, Western Road, Northarbour Road.
Pedestrian access will be maintained around the works.
Cycles to follow vehicle diversion or dismount and follow pedestrian diversion around the works.
