What is happening?

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC)
ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Kingston upon Hull City Council
by virtue of Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 has
today made an Order.
The effect of the Order is to prohibit any person with or without a
vehicle from proceeding along Drypool Bridge and Clarence Street,
Kingston upon Hull.
The purpose of the Order is to ensure the safety of the public and
operatives during surveys and testing works within the tunnel
entrances, located in the carriageway at either side of the bridge deck.
The alternative route for vehicles will be signed on the days.
The Order will come into effect 23rd February 2024 and may continue
in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works
which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is
the earlier.
It is anticipated, however, that the works will be completed in a period
of approximately 4 nights between 8pm to 6am.

PUBLIC FOOTPATH NO 22
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF PEDESTRIANS) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Kingston upon Hull City Council
by virtue of Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 has
today made an Order.
The effect of the Order is to prohibit any person from proceeding along
Public Footpath No 22, Kingston upon Hull.
The purpose of the Order is to ensure the safety of the public and
operatives during damage to the walkway repair works.
The alternative route for pedestrians will be signed.
The Order will come into effect 19th February 2024 and may continue
in force for a period not exceeding six months or until the works which
it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the
earlier.
It is anticipated, however, that the works will be completed by 14th July
2024.

RISBY GROVE/ROWLEY GROVE/WEIGHTON GROVE &
ETTON GROVE AREA
(PROHIBITION OF WAITING) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Kingston upon Hull City Council
today made the above Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act
1984. The Order will come into operation on the 26th February 2024.
The effect of the Order is to introduce no waiting at any time parking
restrictions (double yellow lines) at various junctions and other
locations in the Risby Grove, Rowley Grove, Weighton Grove & Etton
Grove area.
The purpose of the Order is to prevent indiscriminate parking
obscuring driver sight lines and causing problems for moving vehicles.
A copy of the Order and relevant map may be examined during normal
office hours at the Reception and Enquiries Office, The Guildhall,
The Kingston upon Hull, reference JGO/39800-1485.
If you wish to question the validity of this Order or any provisions
contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred
by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, or on the
grounds that any requirement of that Act or of any instrument made
under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may,
within six weeks from the 19th February 2024, apply to the High court
for this purpose.
