What is happening?

Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, makes or intends to make the following Orders.
FOLKESTONE & HYTHE AREA
CHERITON HIGH STREET & HAWKINS ROAD, FOLKESTONE, CT19 4HZ (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow gas works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Cheriton High Street & Hawkins Road, Folkestone, on or after 26th February 2024 for up to 50 days or until the works have been completed.
Cheriton High Street will be closed from B2064 Cheriton High Street to the BP garage. From 26th February 2024, with estimated completion by 5th April 2024, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via B2064 Cheriton High Street, B2064 Cheriton Approach, Cheriton High Street and vice versa.
Hawkins Road will be closed at the junction with B2064 Cheriton High Street. From 26th February 2024, with estimated completion by 22nd March 2024, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Hawkins Road, Richmond Street, Weymouth Road, B2064 Cheriton High Street and vice versa.
DEAN BOTTOM, ELMSTED (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow water works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Dean Bottom, Elmsted, on or after 26th February 2024 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Dean Farm. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Dean Hill, Thorn Lane, B2068 Stone Street, Lymbridge Green, Stowting Hill, Stowting Court Road, Scots Lane, The Street, Stock Lane, Pilgrims Way, New Barn Hill, New Barn Road, The Street, Evington Road From Junction With The Street To Boundary Line, From Dean Bottom To District Boundary, Dean Bottom and vice versa.
RADNOR STREET, FOLKESTONE, CT20 1ND (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow bridge works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Radnor Street, Folkestone, on or after 11th March 2024 for up to 8 hours or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between the junctions of A260 The Tram Road and North Street, between the hours of 22:00 and 06:00 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via A260 The Tram Road, Warren Road, Wear Bay Crescent, Wear Bay Road, East Cliff Gardens, The Durlocks, North Street and vice versa.
SEA WALL, DYMCHURCH, TN29 0PP (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow water works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Sea Wall, Dymchurch, on or after 14th March 2024 for up to 2 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed at the junction with A259 High Street, between the hours of 19:00 and 06:00 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
There is no alternative route. Every effort will be made to maintain access for residents whenever it is safe to do so.
