CROYDON COUNCIL DISABLED PERSONS PARKING PLACES - SCHEDULE 235 The Croydon (Prohibition and Restriction of Stopping, Loading and Waiting) and (Free Parking Places) (No.3) Order 2024 The Croydon (On-Street Charged-For Parking Places) (No.3) Order 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Croydon Council on 12 February 2024 made the above Traffic Orders under section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended and all other enabling powers. 1. The general effect of the Orders will be to:

(a) Revoke the disabled parking places in the vicinity of No. 14 Buller Road, Thornton Heath, No. 156 Cecil Road, Croydon, No. 13 Cypress Road, South Norwood, the junction of Norbury Crescent in Ederline Avenue, Norbury, No. 26 Heather Way, South Croydon, No. 15 Homer Road, Shirley, Croydon,

No. 18 Hunter Road, Thornton Heath, No. 7 Imperial Way, South Croydon, No. 51 Lucerne Road, Thornton Heath, No. 128 Morland Road, Croydon, and No. 172 Norbury Avenue, Thornton Heath.

(b) Designate new parking places at which vehicles displaying a disabled persons' badge may be left without charge or time limit in the following locations.

(c) Amend the map-based tiles to the Schedule attached to the above Orders to accurately represent the new parking arrangements as they exist on site.

2. Copies of the Orders, which will come into operation on 19 February 2024, and of all associated Orders can be inspected between 9am and 4pm, Monday to Friday inclusive, until the last day of a period of six weeks beginning with the date on which the Orders are made by appointment with the Parking Design Team, at Bernard Weatherill House, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon, CRO 1EA (telephone 020 8726 6000 and ask for Parking Design). Alternatively all related documents

or further informationcan be requested by email to Parking.Design@croydon.gov.uk.

3. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made there under have not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within six weeks of the date on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.

CROYDON COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT, 1984, SECTION 14 AS AMENDED THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 AND ALL OTHER ENABLING POWERS BRADMORE WAY, COULSDON TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC

1. Croydon Council, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate telecoms ducting works they have made an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicular traffic movements in Bradmore Way.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place Bradmore Way will be closed between its junctions with Marlpit Lane and Tollers Lane.

3. During the closure, the alternative route for traffic will be via Bradmore Way, Hillside Road, Marlpit Lane and vice versa, as appropriately signposted.

4. The Order will come into operation on 15 February 2024, and it is anticipated that the work will be carried out within two days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further work be required.

5. The restriction shall not apply in respect of:

(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said work.

(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes.

(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

CROYDON COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT. 1984. SECTION 14 AS AMENDED THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 AND ALL OTHER ENABLING POWERS CHIPSTEAD AVENUE. THORNTON HEATH TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC

1. Croydon Council, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate telecoms work on behalf of Openreach they have made an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicular traffic movements in Chipstead Avenue.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place Chipstead Avenue will be closed between its junction with Brigstock Road and a point 10 metres north-west of that junction.

3. During the closure, the diversion route for vehicles will be via Brigstock Road, Nuffield Road, Woodcote Avenue and vice versa, as appropriately signposted.

4. The Order will come into operation on 18 February 2024, and it is anticipated that the work will be carried out within one day. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further work be required.

5. The restriction shall not apply in respect of:

(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works.

(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes.

(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

CROYDON COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT. 1984 SECTION 14. AS AMENDED THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 NSTALLATION OF CYCLE HANGARS - VARIOUS LOCATIONS TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF PARKING

1. Croydon Council, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate works to install cycle hangars they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict parking in the sections of roads listed in the Schedule to this Notice.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place parking will be suspended and waiting and loading restrictions will apply at any time in the sections of road listed in column 2 of the Schedule to this Notice.

3. The Order will come into operation on the 19 February 2024, and it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 01 March 2024. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required. The prohibitions will only apply during such times and to such an extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.

4. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) A vehicle involved in carrying out the said works.

(b) A vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes.

(c) Anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

1. Croydon Council, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate gas main replacement works on behalf of SGN, they have made an order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit pedestrian movements on Footpath No. 865, serving Nos. 34 to 105 Foxcombe, Croydon.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place no person shall proceed along Public Footpath No.865 outside Nos. 34 to 39 and

Nos. 40 to 45 Foxcombe.

3. Whilst the closure is in force, residents' access will be maintained.

4. The Order will come into operation on 19 February 2024, and it is anticipated that the works will be completed on 01 March 2024. However, the Order will remain in force for 6 months to be reintroduced if further work is necessary.

5. Nothing in this Order shall apply to anyone carrying out the said work, or to anything done for police, ambulance, or fire brigade purposes or with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform.
