NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN
that the Nottinghamshire
County Council intends not
less than seven days from the
date of this Notice to make an
Order, under Section 14(1) of
the Road Traffic Regulation Act
1984, as amended, in respect
of roads at Mansfield in the
District of Mansfield.
The effects of the Order will be:
1. Vehicles are prohibited
from proceeding in the
direction specified in the
following length of road:
A6191 Southwell Road West
(north-west bound only) -
from a point 40 metres in a
south-easterly direction from its
junction with A6117 Adamsway,
to a point 130 metres northwest
of its junction with Berry
Hill Lane
2. No person shall cause any
vehicle to turn right from the
following length of road:
A6117 Oak Tree Lane - into
A6191 Southwell Road West
3. No person shall cause any
vehicle to turn left from the
following length of road:
A6117 Adamsway - into A6191
Southwell Road West
1. All existing permanent
restrictions will be temporarily
suspended as required.
2. The restriction specified
above shall only be in effect
when the signs are in place.
IT IS INTENDED that the
prohibitions respecting the
above roads will apply as
follows:
From 19:00 on Monday 4th
March 2024
until 06:00 on Saturday 16th
March 2024
overnight closures
AND NOTICE IS HEREBY
FURTHER GIVEN that during
the periods of restriction the
alternative routes available
will be:
A6117 Oak Tree Lane, A6117
Violet Hill, A6117 Old Mill Lane,
A60 Leeming Lane South,
A6009 St Peter's Way, A6191
Ratcliffe Gate and vice versa
The Order will come into force
on 4th March 2024 and any
prohibition in it shall apply on
that day and any
subsequent day when
necessary to enable works
to be carried out. The Order
shall continue in force until the
works are completed (within a
maximum period of 18 months).
The prohibition is required to
enable Via East Midlands to
carry out resurfacing work.
