Green Lane - Temporary Road Traffic Restrictions
What is happening?
(GREEN LANE) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wolverhampton City Council have made an Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as substituted by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, prohibiting vehicles from proceeding on Green Lane in both directions from its junction with Blakeley Rise to outside property 2. The Order may operate for a maximum period of eighteen months, but it is anticipated that the works will be undertaken from 19 February 2024 until 23 February 2024. The diversion route is: Pendeford Avenue, Blackburn Avenue, Aldersley Road and vice versa. The Order is required to facilitate new domestic water and gas service connections by Severn Trent Water and Cadent Gas.
