ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 –

SECTION 14

(WEST STREET, NORMANTON)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 44) 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield has made an Order on traffic management grounds to allow for renew cover & frame to be carried out as follows:-

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: West Street, Normanton. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of West Street.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: Queen Street, High Street, King Edward Street, Altofts Road, Market Street, Wakefield Road, Church Lane, King Street, West Street & vice versa.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 19th February 2024 to 20th February 2024, or until completion of the work, whichever is soonest. Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever.

(QUEEN ELIZABETH ROAD, WAKEFIELD)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 46) 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield has made an Order on traffic management grounds for carriageway planning & patching to be carried out as follows:-

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Queen Elizabeth Road, Wakefield at the junction of Stanley Road. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of Queen Elizabeth Road.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: Queen Elizabeth Road, Watson Crescent, Greenwood Crescent, Stanley Road, Queen Elizabeth Road.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including

16th February 2024, 09.30 hours to 15.30 hours daily or until completion of the work, whichever is soonest.

Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible

(HOLMFIELD LANE, WAKEFIELD)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC

& TEMPORARY RIGHT TURN BAN) ORDER (NO 47) 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield has made an Order on traffic management grounds to allow for permanent traffic signals to be upgraded to be carried out as follows: -

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Holmfield Lane, Wakefield, right turn ban at the junction with Denby Dale Road and a right turn ban from unnamed street on the opposite side of Denby Dale Road adjacent to railway bridge, currently controlled by permanent traffic signals.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including

17th February 2024 to 22nd March 2024, or until completion of the work, whichever is soonest. Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible. Dated this 15th day of February 2024
