What is happening?

CITY OF BRISTOL
(PUBLIC RIGHT OF WAY 544 AND PUBLIC RIGHT OF WAY 596,
SHIREHAMPTON, BRISTOL) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION
OF USE BY FOOT PASSENGERS) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is hereby given that the City Council of Bristol in pursuance
of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act
1984 as amended have made an Order the effect of which is to
close, temporarily, to pedestrians the lengths of public rights or way
specified in the Schedule to this Notice.
The Order was required because works are being or are proposed to be
executed on or near the public rights of way and becomes operative
from 19th February 2024 for a maximum period of six months.
However, the closure may not be implemented for the whole of the
period, but only as necessitated by the works (which are anticipated
to take place between 19th February 2024 and 25th March 2024).
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Public Right of Way 596 (part unaffected),
Northleach Walk, Nibley Road, Rear Access Nibley Road Sports Ground

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE BY VEHICLES AND
FOOT PASSENGERS) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is hereby given that the City Council of Bristol in pursuance
of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act
1984 as amended have made an Order the effect of which is to
close, temporarily, to vehicles and pedestrians that length of Redland
Road from Zetland Road south eastwards for 38 metres.
The Order was required because works are being or are proposed to
be executed on or near the road and becomes operative from
18th February 2024 for a maximum period of eighteen months.
However, the closure may not be implemented for the whole of the
period, but only as necessitated by the works (which are anticipated
to take place between 18th February 2024 and 22nd March 2024).
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Zetland Road, Cheltenham Road, Cotham Brow,
Redland Road (part unaffected) and vice versa
(SOUTH CROFT, HENLEAZE, BRISTOL)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE BY VEHICLES) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is hereby given that the City Council of Bristol in pursuance
of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act
1984 as amended have made an Order the effect of which is to
close, temporarily, to vehicles that length of South Croft from
Cransley Crescent to Croft View.
The Order was required because works are being or are proposed to
be executed on or near the road and becomes operative from
19th February 2024 for a maximum period of eighteen months.
However, the closure may not be implemented for the whole of the
period, but only as necessitated by the works (which are anticipated
to take place between 19th February 2024 and 23rd February 2024).
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: South Croft (part unaffected), Hill View,
The Crescent, Hill Grove, The Crescent, Harbury Road, South Croft
(part unaffected) and vice versa
(LOWER CASTLE STREET, OLD MARKET STREET AND TOWER
HILL, CITY CENTRE, BRISTOL) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF
USE BY VEHICLES) (TEMPORARY SUSPENSION OF ONE WAY
TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is hereby given that the City Council of Bristol in pursuance
of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act
1984 as amended have made an Order the effect of which is:
1. to close, temporarily, to vehicles the lengths of roads specified in
Schedule 1 to this Notice; and
2. to suspend, temporarily, the existing one way traffic working in a
southerly direction in Tower Hill so as to give effect to the
alternative route as a consequence of item 1 above and to allow
access and egress for works vehicles.
The Order was required because carriageway layout works are being
or are proposed to be executed on or near the roads and becomes
operative from 25th February 2024 for a maximum period of eighteen
months. However, the restrictions may not be implemented for the
whole of the period, but only as necessitated by the works (which are
anticipated to take place on the dates specified in Schedule 2 to
this Notice).
